With a documented accuracy of well over 90%, my predictions are up there with the best (even considering election 2006). So, it should come to no surprise to Jimmy Z that our phone conversation re the immigration bill would come to fruition.

I predicted that the bill was DOA because it wouldn't be able to overcome an all but certain Senate filibuster.

Michelle Malkin has featured numerous writers speculating that opponents of the bill had in the neighborhood of 40 votes.

Obviously, they had more than that. Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy's plan to fast track this lumbering behemoth of a bill through before Memorial day has failed.

The vote on cloture has been put off until June. This can only mean that the headhunters could not come up with the magic 60 votes to beat the certain filibuster. Isn't it hilarious to see the Democrat's filibuster everything strategy come back to bite them in their asses?

Stick a fork in this bill...it's done. Opposition will swell, not decline as time goes on. 70% of Americans oppose amnesty....and they will be heard.

What a great day for America!
