World history is full of figures whose true greatness was not recognized until years after their time in the sun had passed. Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill are but a few.

Two names that history will-without any shadow of a doubt-add to that list are George W Bush and Tony Blair.

Bush will be remembered as the visionary that led our country into a new kind of war against an enemy as insidious and barbaric as our world has ever seen, all the while charging head-on against the most rabid, treasonous and gutless opposition and media a President has ever faced.

Blair's accomplishment may be held in even higher esteem because he faced the same rabid opposition, from his own party.

These two men are heroes. They did what was right when doing what was right was tough. We will miss you Tony.
