The story of today's Rasmussen Poll showing Fred Thompson's ascendancy, isn't merely about him being tied for first with America's Mayor.
What is astounding is that it hasn't even been a month that Rasmussen Reports has been tracking Thompson.
In a mere 25 days, Fred has gone from 4th place, 20 points down to the leader, to a first place tie. -20 to 0 in 25 days.
As the trend lines show, not only are McCain and Guiliani continuing to plummet, but the brief flirtation with Romney appears to be going sour as well.
Guiliani cannot hope to hold off Fred. Fred is going to win this nomination going away.
It is now time for Conservatives and Republicans to unite behind Fred Thompson.
