WHERE IS THE ACLU ON THIS ONE?

Imagine if a public elementary school (kindergarten through eighth grade), anywhere in the nation, set aside 15 minutes of productive class time specifically for Christian children to pray. Imagine if the Christian children were given their own classes and that a teacher's aide were leading them in school sponsored prayer. How fast would the ACLU be in on this one?

Well, it's happening - for Muslim kids (SOURCE) in a public school here in San Diego, California.

"In true multicultural fashion, the school has gone to extreme lengths to accommodate its new students; the curriculum features the teaching of Arabic - the language of the Quran - single gender classes for girls as well as organized prayer... for Muslims only.

"A new dhimmi class schedule - expressly designed to kow tow to Carver’s new students - was instituted. It created an extra 15 minute recess period as part of an hour set aside so that Carver’s Muslims can pray en-masse while in class. Additionally, the school cafeteria menu no longer serves pork or other foods which conflict with fundamentalist Muslim diet restrictions [halal]."

So, I ask again: Where is the ACLU on this one?
Nowhere. It's Christianity in public school that they hate, not religion is public school.

Having failed yet again today to muster the votes needed to pass a bill to kill the Iraq surge before it can be shown as a success, Democrats will soon undertake a new strategy: shoot the messenger.

In September, General David Petraeus will speak the clear and obvious truth - that the surge is a success. Dems will have little choice but to try and smear him ahead of that announcement.

... Watch for it.

Will Washington allow the current progress to continue?

In Washington perception is often mistaken for reality. And as Congress prepares for a fresh debate on Iraq, the perception many members have is that the new strategy has already failed. This isn't an accurate reflection of what is happening on the ground, as I saw during my visit to Iraq in May. Reports from the field show that remarkable progress is being made. Violence in Baghdad and Anbar Province is down dramatically, grassroots political movements have begun in the Sunni Arab community, and American and Iraqi forces are clearing al Qaeda fighters and Shiite militias out of established bases around the country.

This is remarkable because the military operation that is making these changes possible only began in full strength on June 15. To say that the surge is failing is absurd. Instead Congress should be asking this question: Can the current progress continue?

Michael Moore, out of control, raging and raving moonbat is being kept track of by a great website called moorewatch.com. Moore even lied about them in his new NotDocumentary! On the site is both the priceless dismantling of the film by a medical correspondent on CNN, and also a follow up debate with that medical reporter and a very antagonized, irritated Moore on Larry King. Funniest thing about all of this is how Moore can't back up his movie when the facts are laid out before him. Great stuff!

My question is - why doesn't a person like this get a therapist and try to work through her terrible depression? How can a person like this wake up and face the day? How can she keep from putting a bullet in her head? I'd hate to spend 2 minutes inside that head of hers. Good God.
