BILL CLINTON IS ABSOLUTELY RELEVANT

I've been all over the internet talking about Scooter Libby and Bush's commuting his sentence.

First, I want to take the crazed leftist Bill Maher to task here. Writing at the Huff-and-Puffington Post, Maher declares:

"Besides the obvious -- that you can't, as the president claimed, honor the verdict of the jury and then basically overturn it -- what was the downside for him? The twenty-something percentage of people who still back him probably know Scooter Libby, most of them socially, and appreciate his pardon; and the rest of the country probably has never heard of Scooter Libby. This is not a country that pays attention to anything complicated, and even has a hard time with the simple. Outside of the bloggers, it's not something that will upset Joe Sixpack." (SOURCE)

How wrong can Maher be? He insults Americans, referring to them as ignorant Joe Sixpacks, and yet the ignorance in this comment is Maher's alone.

1 - The verdict was not overturned. This is a lie the left wants to perpetuate because it serves their purpose. Their tactic is to present Republicans as being corrupt and any lie they can spread is therefore justified. In reality, the corrupt party is the Democrat Party, as most beautifully illustrated by Bill Clinton (but we'll get to that in a moment).

2 - Maher goes on to call the commuting of the sentence a pardon, which is totally wrong. Either Bill is completely ignorant of what commuting a sentence is, or he is lying outright. There is no other alternative. I got into this discussion with a moonbat in a chat room recently. That liberal said that there is essentially no difference between a full pardon and commuting the sentence. I couldn't stop laughing!

Let me educate that chat room ignoramus and Mr. Maher: Commuting the sentence is not even close to a pardon. Libby is still a felon, Libby had to pay a $250,000 fine, and he is on probation. He has lost his right to vote. Get it?

Now that Maher is dismissed, on to Clinton. Bill Clinton is something the leftists and liberals and moonbats do not want revisit. I have never seen the Clintonistas (people who support Clinton regardles - impeached, embarrassed, unfaithful and disbarred, it doesn't matter) unwilling to talk about their hero! The pardons that Clinton issued before he left office are horrendous; you've never read about so many drug dealers and cheats and scoundrels in one place in your life. These people endangered children and American society in so many ways, yet Clinton pardoned them - hundreds of them.

Liberals all over the internet are trying to characterize these criminals and felons Clinton pardoned as being innocent in some way, and Clinton righting wrongs with his pardons. It is more likely that President Bush righted a wrong in commuting the sentence of Libby. The subjects of Clinton's pardons were convicted of these crimes. Importing cocaine for the purpose of distribution. Defrauding the government of millions of dollars. These and more disgusting crimes were pardoned by Bill Clinton, and this is why the left keeps telling you, "eh, Clinton is irrelevant."

No, that's incorrect. Bill Clinton could not be more relevant. And that's why the left - all of a sudden - doesn't want to talk about him.
