SURE, RUSH IS GREAT AND ALL . . .
The big story in the first hour of the Rush Limbaugh program today was the New York Times op-ed piece, "A War We Just Might Win," which the liberal rag published an article written by a couple of Brookings fellows - and the Brookings Institute isn't exactly right wing - it's left.
So, of minor importance is that A Newt One gave you the link for this very important piece literally over six hours before Rush talked about it on his show. We are hoping you can come to depend on us for that kind of edge of your seat topicality.
But more important is the piece itself. This is big news kids, bigger than anything in the last 3 months, maybe six. The Surge is working to a degree that the left wing media cannot deny it anymore. Sure, the moonbats will continue to carry on like... like... like MOONBATS do, but even the left wing media cannot deny what is going on there on the ground in Iraq anymore.
So here's the link again for "A War We Might Just Win." Read it - this isn't some right wing wacko telling you how great we're doing in the war on terrorism. This is two left wing writers who are waking up to what we have been telling you all along.
"There is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008."
