NEARLY HALF OF 'AFRICAN AMERICANS' POLLED BELIEVE THE MICHAEL VICK CASE IS ABOUT THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN

The 'content of his character' (empty as it is) does not seem to matter to them

"SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- In a poll taken earlier this week on the popular website, YourBlackWorld.com, it was determined that whites and blacks have starkly different views on the Michael Vick dogfighting case, as well as the Barry Bonds steroid scandal.

"In the poll, it was determined that while 14.5% of whites feel that the Michael Vick case has something to do with race, 46% of African-Americans feel that it does."

This is your typical victi-crat thinking that the democrat party has all but programmed into the black community.

What would cause a freshmen member of congress to bolt from a briefing given by a General of the United States military? Did he insult her? Slap her rear end?

Did he suggest that women have no place in the military?

Um, no.

Columnist Michael Barone pointed out, in
a recent column, that Nancy Boyda, freshmen congresswoman from the state of Kansas, was so incensed by the remarks of General Jack Keane, that she stormed out of the briefing. When she appeared later, she lamented:

"Those kinds of comments will in fact show up in the media
and further divide this country, instead of saying, here's the
reality of the problem. And people, we have to come
together and deal with the reality of this issue."

So, what has the Gentle lady from Kansas so upset?

Well, it seems that General Keane was recounting the many positive developments in Iraq that indicate that the troop surge just might work. This, on the heels of a column by two Brookings institute lefties that said essentially the same thing.

Can you imagine??

"I'm sorry Mr. Jefferson, but the latest intel shows Washington's army advancing through Trenton. Victory for America is possible. I'm so sorry"

"President Lincoln, we believe that you should not accept Mr. Lee's surrender. Perceptions of a Union victory, if leaked to the media, could continue to divide the country"

"Mr. Truman, despite our recent victories at Midway and Anzio, and Japan's imminent surrender, we have decided to break with you because we believe the continued electoral cost of fighting Germany and Japan is too steep a price to pay."

The Democrat leadership is not merely hoping for an American defeat in Iraq, they are absolutely counting on it! If that does not meet the textbook definition of treason, I don't know what would!

Nancy Boyda is a walking, talking personification of the Democrat's problem. Kansas district 2 hadn't seen a competitive election in a long time. At the beginning of the election cycle, Republican Jim Ryun was listed among the safest Republicans. Boyda won this seat from the five term Republican because of, and only because of, the new direction in Iraq hysteria pitched by the Democrats.

Absent Iraq, as an albatross for Republicans, Boyda didn't have a prayer of winning, and doesn't have a prayer of keeping this very, very, red seat. Given the quality of person holding it, they don't deserve to.

In fact, America should throw out anybody who practices this kind of scorched earth politics. Boyda, and her colleagues would rather ride a wave of catastrophe to electoral victory, than celebrate her country's success.

This is really sick stuff and it speaks to the depravity of the left wing.

Democratic Majority Whip James Clyburn said, according to the Washington Post online, that

A strongly positive report on progress on Iraq
by Army Gen. David Petraeus likely would split
Democrats in the House and impede his party's
efforts to press for a timetable to end the war.

Wouldn't it be reasonable to conclude that a strongly positive report on progress on Iraq should dissuade their desire to be so anxious to run the white flag up? You might think so.

The problem is that for the leftwing, the issue isn't (nor has ever been) Iraq at all. The issue is (and always has been) President Bush and the Conservatives. The leading Democrats are really no more than anti-Republicans that cannot stomach the perception that anything good could ever happen in George W Bush's America.

So filled with partisan bile and pure, toxic venom, they always eventually wind up sounding like the stammering, hypocritical baboons they are.

This is the party that ran on a new direction in Iraq and demanded Secretary Rumsfeld's job. They got both. Not only has this sorry cast of blithering idiots not given us any new direction in Iraq but that have not ceased in attacking the surge implemented by General Petraeus, who was approved by the Senate by a 81-0 vote.

Are you following this?

They ran on the need for a new direction in Iraq, President Bush game them one, they approved it....and are now surprised and infuriated that it's actually working!!!

The success of the surge wasn't hard to predict. The so-called insurgency did not have any kind of organizational structure and they didn't have the support of the Iraqi people. It was only a question of time before our superior diplomacy and military might put down this terrorist revolt.

Year's from now, when A Democratic Iraq is recounting it's debt to America, I hope a word or two will be said about the losers who tried to stand in the way.....and failed miserably.
