RUSH LIMBAUGH GEMS - DO NOT MISS THESE

Let me take a minute here to say if you don't think you like Limbaugh, you should listen to these clips anyway. I know a great many conservatives who have a tainted view of Limbaugh because of the way the media has painted him for the last 19 years he's had a national show. His style is bombastic, sure enough. But his delivery is augmented by one of the sharpest minds and brilliant wits on American radio.

I took a couple of years off, listening to some other shows in the mornings for a time, and then tuned Rush in again and he's better than ever. It was nice to check him out with fresh ears.

I have two important clips - in this first one, HERE, Rush is talking about some news stories regarding Iraq. The news is getting better, and the media - though they lean left, cannot ignore the story anymore. Liberal writers have to spin these changes in the war effort in order to try and save the democrats who have been investing in defeat for all these years. Note also that Rush mentions our friend and ally, Ed Morrissey of the Captain's Quarters blog.

"I'm telling you, something has changed. It's the Drive-Bys, folks. Don't believe that they're doing this to help the military to help George Bush. This is about saving the Democrats, who have gone off the cliff. Even this. This is stunning." --Rush Limbaugh

In the second and MOST important clip, HERE, is actually a collection of my favorite clips I have personally collected from today's interview with Karl Rove. It's time we listen to Karl himself and judge what kind of person he is for ourselves, and I have to say he is not only brilliant, but witty and fun and we're probably very fortunate that he's been in the White House all this time. God bless him as he moves on to write a book - which is probably going to be a great read.

You'll want to hear the entire interview, but you'll have to subscribe to Rush 24/7 to do it. These portions give you a great view into what Karl Rove is really like - instead of the nasty vitriol about him from the media.

"I'll be hyperventilating about the latest attack on him by somebody, and he'll say, 'Don't worry. History will get it right and we'll both be dead.' So it's a good, healthy attitude about how to take it." --Karl Rove

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 'PRO-IMMIGRATION' PROTEST

No matter how many times you hear it or read it, 'pro-immigration protests' do not exist.

Why?

Because the United States is solidly pro-immigration. In fact, the reports that there are patriotic Americans counter protesting in an 'anti-immigration' fashion are also lies. There is no such thing as 'anti-immigration protests' either.

Every newspaper, magazine, television and radio report you see that speaks of 'pro-immigration protests' is perpetuating a lie.

What these protests are, in every case, are 'pro-illegal-immigration protests.' Period.

And that's the bottom line.

Seriously kids - are we dealing with the best NASA can find?

Spacewalk shortened by astronaut's cut glove

A spacewalking astronaut was forced to cut short his work and return to the International Space Station (ISS) when he found a small hole in his spacesuit glove, NASA said.

Three-time spacewalker Rick Mastracchio was not in any danger but was ordered back to the station's airlock two hours early as a precaution, said mission commentator Kyle Herring. He returned to the station without incident.

"The suit is perfectly fine," Mr Herring said. "There are many layers to the suit as a precaution." (MORE)
DEMOCRATS BLAME BUSH FOR CUT IN ASTRONAUT'S GLOVE

"There is no excuse," an angry Keith Olbermann shouted in a passionate rant on television. "Bush must step down before socks are frayed!"

A NEWT ONION - President Bush, under fire for his part in the recent untimely death of entertainer-billionaire Merv Griffin, was the topic once again for liberal television commentators today.

Astronaut
Rick Mastracchio was ordered back into the shuttle when it was discovered that his glove had a cut in it that Bush is unable and unwilling to explain, according to MSNBC pundit Olbermann.

For Herr Olbermann, this sheds new light on the very recent retirement of Karl Rove. "Karl knows the inside story, there is no question. Obviously, money that was diverted from the NASA program to the war in Iraq led to NASA being forced into using well-worn suits and clothing. Rove must be brought before a congressional hearing and explain what he knows."

Barrack Obama, smarting from his recent anti-troop gaffe, agreed: "They is no question that they'z not doin' anything to protect the space homies," Obama said with a hip-hop backing track. "I got to axe me some quessens."

Hillary Clinton, rolling her eyes, whispered to an aide, "I can't believe I'm losing to this guy!" (MORE)

The troop surge is such an overwhelming success that all but the most partisan leftwinger has been forced to admit it.

The left wing anti-war crowd is in a full scale panic leading up to the mid-September report of General David Petraeus. According to the Gallup organization, a staggering 80% of Americans say that General Petraeus is the most credible spokesperson on Iraq.

USA Today: Major Attacks Decline in Iraq

The left wingers are about to be buried in a Tsunami of backlash as the General pronounces what we all know to be true. The surge is a success, Iraq's freedom is at hand.

A Newt One is honored and proud to be part of the Move America Forward/ Gathering of Eagles coalition that will lead a caravan of patriots to storm our nation's capital. The Caravan will cross America, west to east, beginning September 3rd and climaxing with a massive pro-Iraq war mission rally on September 15th on the national mall.

Help us give the anti-war crowd a combat boot in the mouth and show America that we were right to never waver in our support of the Iraq war.

Debbie Lee, from Move America Forward, will record a special message each day of the caravan that will be broadcast exclusively on A Newt One. Then, on September 15th, look for a special live double webcast from Washington DC on American Truth Warriors and The Halls of Valhalla!

US set to declare Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist group

Wednesday August 15, 2007

"The Bush administration is set to officially blacklist the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps by listing it as a terrorist organisation, US officials said today.

The radical move - believed to be the first of its kind against a foreign government or quasi-government agency - comes amid growing frustration in Washington over Iran." (MORE)

On the face of it, this appears to be long overdue. *L* However, I reserve the right to change my mind. This too, later in the piece, is very important:

"A US official told the Post: 'Anyone doing business with these people will have to re-evaluate their actions immediately. It makes clear to everyone who the IRGC and their related businesses really are. It removes the excuses for doing business with these people.'"

And this from Forbes this afternoon, PDT:

US Chokes Funds to Iranian Terror Groups

"The Bush administration's move to blacklist Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps as a "terrorist" organization is a new salvo in a broader effort to choke off funding to Iranian elements accused of developing nuclear weapons and fomenting violence in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East.

"At the same time, it is intended to send a message to countries doing business in Iran that the United States is serious about isolating Tehran and is willing to slap sanctions on companies that continue to trade with Iran even if the United Nations is not, according to U.S. officials." (MORE)

THE FORMER FIRST LADY ISN'T LEFT ENOUGH OR FEMINIST ENOUGH FOR LEFT WING WOMEN

Writers complain about Hillary's moderate-to-right stance (!)

The ongoing argument over whether or not women will support Hillary Clinton for President has taken a bit of an ugly turn on the internet. Last night, I hit a few sites where feministas have written some pretty nasty and indignant pieces about their reluctance to support Ms. Clinton.

In general, feminist women (including leftists and liberal lesbians no doubt) do not appreciate how Ms. Clinton acquired her power. Hillary is said to have rode in on Bill's coat tails by a number of women writers. These women do not respect Hillary because her hunger for power prevented her from sending Bill out the door. She put up with Bill's unwillingness to live the life of a faithful husband because she wanted her own glory, and believed that she could not attain that without staying with him.
Assuming Hillary gets the
democrat nomination she
would immediately make a
hasty bee-line for the center.

The anger is these articles, some of which are linked below, is striking. The writers are women so far to the left, they honestly see Hillary as a hawk! As I read from one link to the next, I came across a women who insisted that she could not understand why conservatives were not backing Hillary for President.

She was serious! Imagine being so far left (i.e. gone, over the edge, lost, unglued, maniacal) that you see Hillary as being right of center! For her part, Hillary's writings, which were discussed on a recent American Truth Warrior program, identify her as a leftist in good standing. But these feminists and leftist women are so hyper-left, they see Hillary as a moderate or conservative!

Further, they do not believe she can be elected in this country because of this supposed 'moderate' position! Forget the fact that her negatives are sky high; somewhere in the neighborhood of 45-50 percent of Americans say that they would not vote for Hillary under ANY circumstances. The female columnists I looked at last night wrote that if Hillary isn't moving more to the left, she has little or no chance of having American women vote for her.

Make that 'angry, unsatisfied American leftist women and butch bull dykes.'

One thing the left wing femi-nazis do not understand is that if Hillary were more left, her negatives would instantly go through the roof, and she'd secure her place along side Howard Dean as one of the quickest political self-destructs in the history of those self-destructing professionals - The Democrat Party.

The fact is that these leftist female writers want Hillary to be far more to the left than she is now, and they are also ignorant enough to believe she could stay that way. Assuming Hillary gets the democrat nomination (not at all a lock as far as A Newt One is concerned), she would immediately make a hasty bee-line for the center. No question about it.

Then who will the far left nazi broads vote for?

A Newt One's generous and honest apology is viewable upon request. It sat on the scroll all day and was pretty much dismissed by the person to whom it was issued, so we're moving on. We still have it though, and we'll send it out to anyone (within reason of course, we're not stupid!) who requests it.

IN THE MEANTIME, we see no need for further self-flagellation.
