From President Bush's remarks at the Annapolis Peace Conference: taken out of context and interspersed with my comments. [Emphasis added for clarity]
The Palestinian people are blessed with many gifts and talents. They want the opportunity to use those gifts to better their own lives and build a better future for their children. They want the dignity that comes with sovereignty and independence. They want justice and equality under the rule of law. They want freedom from violence and fear.So, why did they elect HAMAS to a majority in their legislative body? How are those statements to be believed in the face of "from the river to the sea", "a million martyrs marching to Jerusalem and “With our soul, with our blood, we will sacrifice for Palestine.” ? If they wanted peace they could have made it any damn day in the last 60 years, including today. They choose not to.
Today, Palestinians and Israelis each understand that helping the other to realize their aspirations is key to realizing their own aspirations -- and both require an independent, democratic, viable Palestinian state. Such a state will provide Palestinians with the chance to lead lives of freedom and purpose and dignity. Such a state will help provide the Israelis with something they have been seeking for generations: to live in peace with their neighbors.Fallestinian aspirations: genocide and policide; a region without Israel, without Jews. Why in Hell would any sane, decent person want those aspirations to be realized!!! Have you not read the HAMAS Charter? Here is Article 11.
The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine has been an Islamic Waqf throughout the generations and until the Day of Resurrection, no one can renounce it or part of it, or abandon it or part of it. No Arab country nor the aggregate of all Arab countries, and no Arab King or President nor all of them in the aggregate, have that right, nor has that right any organization or the aggregate of all organizations, be they Palestinian or Arab, because Palestine is an Islamic Waqf throughout all generations and to the Day of Resurrection. Who can presume to speak for all Islamic Generations to the Day of Resurrection? This is the status [of the land] in Islamic Shari'a, and it is similar to all lands conquered by Islam by force, and made thereby Waqf lands upon their conquest, for all generations of Muslims until the Day of Resurrection. This [norm] has prevailed since the commanders of the Muslim armies completed the conquest of Syria and Iraq, and they asked the Caliph of Muslims, 'Umar Ibn al-Khattab, for his view of the conquered land, whether it should be partitioned between the troops or left in the possession of its population, or otherwise. Following discussions and consultations between the Caliph of Islam, 'Umar Ibn al-Khattab, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, be peace and prayer upon him, they decided that the land should remain in the hands of its owners to benefit from it and from its wealth; but the control of the land and the land itself ought to be endowed as a Waqf [in perpetuity] for all generations of Muslims until the Day of Resurrection. The ownership of the land by its owners is only one of usufruct, and this Waqf will endure as long as Heaven and earth last. Any demarche in violation of this law of Islam, with regard to Palestine, is baseless and reflects on its perpetrators.Democratic? What Muslim nation is democratic? What Muslim nation recognizes the dignity and equality of non-Muslims? What difference does it make to Israel how her neighbors are governed so long as they do not attack her? But they do attack her, and they will always attack her, because she is not Muslim, and by existing on conquered land in spite of multiple invasions, proves Allah to be an impotent idol. Allah made promises, which he has not kept.

8:65 is sufficient proof: if Allah was God, Israel would have been eliminated 60 years ago! Islam can not tolerate this proof of Allah's impotence. For this reason it is impossible for Islam to end their attempt at reconquest. What did Moe have to say about the intensity & duration of the conflict?

They must hunt down and kill the last Jew, and Jihad continues to Resurrection Day! But President Bush is clueless.
The emergence of responsible Palestinian leaders has given Israeli leaders the confidence they need to reach out to the Palestinians in true partnership. Prime Minister Olmert has expressed his understanding of the suffering and indignities felt by the Palestinian people. He's made clear that the security of Israel will be enhanced by the establishment of a responsible, democratic Palestinian state. With leaders of courage and conviction on both sides, now is the time to come together and seek the peace that both sides desire.What is Abu Abbas responsible for besides funding the Munich Massacre? Has he taken effective action to stop rocket and mortar launching? Has he stopped Fallestinian television from broadcasting incitement? Has he stopped schools and sporting events from honoring splodydopes? Has he renounced the goal of reconquest? Has he renounced the goal of genocide? Has he reduced corruption? Has he prevented transfer of donated weapons and ammunition from the P.A. to terrorists?
Exactly what have the Fallestinian people suffered that is not the result of their own acts & omissions? Were they not significantly better off before they raised Hell seven years ago?
Second, the time is right because a battle is underway for the future of the Middle East -- and we must not cede victory to the extremists. With their violent actions and contempt for human life, the extremists are seeking to impose a dark vision on the Palestinian people -- a vision that feeds on hopelessness and despair to sow chaos in the Holy Land. If this vision prevails, the future of the region will be endless terror, endless war, and endless suffering.If I just sacrifice Israel to the Arabs, they'll cooperate in stabilizing Iraq. What mental illness causes such delusions? Give them Israel and they'll demand Spain; they won't cooperate in Iraq no matter what we do.
Who are these mythical extremists? Are they the ones promoting Jihad, terror & genocide? Who in Hell would ever do that?

Allah & his Messenger are the warmongers & terrorists. There are no extremists; Islam is extreme!!! Islam is evil by design, not a victim of hijacking. Dark vision indeed, President Bush is blind; he can't see objective factual reality.
We're here because we understand that the success of these efforts to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians will have an impact far beyond the Holy Land.Yeah, tell us about the great success of Oslo & Wye River. Those were abject failures; counterproductive and your foolish mission will be no more successful.
They must demonstrate that a Palestinian state will create opportunity for all its citizens, and govern justly, and dismantle the infrastructure of terror. They must show that a Palestinian state will accept its responsibility, and have the capability to be a source of stability and peace -- for its own citizens, for the people of Israel, and for the whole region.Today its an "authority"; tomorrow a state. What will change? A pig, by any other name is still a pig. In 60 years have they governed justly or honestly? Have they dismantled the infrastructure of terror or built it up? Exactly what provision of Oslo, Wye River or the Road Map to Hell have they carried out? Exactly how would statehood change that?
The Israelis must do their part. They must show the world that they are ready to begin -- to bring an end to the occupation that began in 1967 through a negotiated settlement. This settlement will establish Palestine as a Palestinian homeland, just as Israel is a homeland for the Jewish people. Israel must demonstrate its support for the creation of a prosperous and successful Palestinian state by removing unauthorized outposts, ending settlement expansion, and finding other ways for the Palestinian Authority to exercise its responsibilities without compromising Israel's security.How about the occupation that began in 638 and continues to the present day? For what good reason should Jews be prohibited from living in Hebron? Why should Jews be prohibited from visiting the Temple Mount? Israel regained Judea & Samaria as a result of invasion by Muslims who bet the desert and lost. Since when do winning defenders cede land to losing aggressors?
The United States will help Palestinian leaders build these free institutions -- and the United States will keep its commitment to the security of Israel as a Jewish state and homeland for the Jewish people.We're gonna build our common enemy a new and better base from which to attack the only ally we have in the region, throwing good money after bad and further endanger Israel's security and world peace.
We believe democracy brings peace.Were the ancient democratic city states of Greece & Italy warriors or peaceful? Did the Roman Senate object to building their empire? How did Adolf Hitler rise to power? Some people lack the intelligence to discern the difference between form and substance.
The day is coming when Palestinians will enjoy the blessings that freedom brings -- and all Israelis will enjoy the security they deserve. That day is coming. The day is coming when the terrorists and extremists who threaten the Israeli and Palestinian people will be marginalized and eventually defeated .And when that day comes, future generations will look to the work we began here at Annapolis. They will give thanks to the leaders who gathered on the banks of the Chesapeake for their vision, their wisdom and courage to choose a future of freedom and peace.
That is the highest expression of false & baseless optimism born of abject ignorance of the nature of Islam. There will be no peace for Israel while Islam exists on this earth. It is not possible, no matter how hard you wish.
