~The Mighty SonlitKnight
The official kickoff of election 2008 is in 1 week, with the votes casts in Iowa. Following, in quick succession, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Michigan, Florida.......
This is not a time to leave the leadership of the world in the hands of people too stupid and short-sighted to understand America's role in keeping the world safe from the very kind of barbarians who took the life of the former Pakistanian Prime Minister.
Benazir Bhutto was the leader of the opposition party that was expected to do very well in the January 8th Parliamentary elections, running on a policy of cracking down on Al Queda.
A cowardly muslim suicide bomber shot Bhutto down with an AK-47 before blowing himself up.
He is now frying in hell.
The Bhutto supporters, right or wrong, are convinced that Pervez Musharaff is responsible for her assasination and there is now talk of a civil war in a country that is rife with radical Islam and in possesion of nuclear weapons.
Who can we trust to lead the free world in such a dangerous time?
The Democrats? They don't seem able to discuss foreign policy more recent than 1973.
Ron Paul? He is attacking Abraham Lincoln!
Rudy? Please. His entire foreign policy portfolio is ''elect me because my city was attacked on 9/11''. Mitt Romney? It's likely he couldn't find Pakistan on a map.
How about Huck Finn Huckabee? No, thanks. He hasn't convinced me he understands the threats we face.
There are only 2 candidates running that are not living in a fantasy world and they are Fred Thompson and John McCain. I am fast coming to the conclusion that they are the only two I can support.
