In less than 16 hours, a new year will arrive in America. It's a good time to assess our performance in 2007 and that of our enemies. Truthfully, we have a surprisingly small number of truly committed enemies. Out of the thousands of people who visit our blog each month, there are maybe a dozen individuals who make it a regular habit to attack us in some fashion. They all have one thing in common- they are insane. Oh, I'm not joking. Everyone of the perhaps 12 or 13 fools who attack us regularly suffer from severe paranoia and other forms of acute mental illness.
* 9/11 Truther nuts.
* New World Order conspiracy nuts.
* Rabid, frothing sufferers of Bush derangement syndrome.
* Anti-War Traitors.
* Obsessive, compulsive, bitter chat room addicts.
What you will never see, ever, is A Newt One challenged by lucid, thought provoking commentary from intelligent commentators making coherent arguments. Those who are lucid and sober always find something at A Newt One with which they can agree.
Rabid leftists, foaming at the mouth? Eh, not so much.
It was these rabid leftists nutjobs that made all manner of predictions in 2007. They predicted Bush and Cheney would be impeached. That didn't work out so well for them. They predicted the Surge wouldn't work and the war would be stopped. (ROTFLMAO).
Funniest of all, were their predictions about the demise of A Newt One. As if.....
A Newt One will finish 2007 as a Page rank 4 blog, on the verge of 5. We are currently ranked by the blog ranking service Technorati in the top 86,000 blogs worldwide. This means that we are ranked higher than 99% of blogs worldwide.
We are ranked as on of the top 2 1/2 Million trafficked websites worldwide out of billions. We have more than 3,900 indexed pages and are linked to by more than 61,000 articles in the WWW. We have added at least 82 Blogs to our subscriber base in the last 6 months alone. We have added approximately 40 more in e-mail RSS Feeds and Straight feeds.
A Newt One has scored at least 100,000 hits each month for six consecutive months and will finish with close to 10,000 unique visitors in the month of December alone.
The Website rating service websitegrader.com gives us a score of 90 out of a possible 100 and our traffic is more than 10 times that of our 3 major enemies combined.
