MIKE HUCKABEE SPEAKS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT MORMONS BELIEVE

Caller to Limbaugh calls it bigotry

Jimmy Z -  First things first: Mormons believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers. Period. They do not believe that Jesus is God; they believe that like Lucifer, Jesus was created by God.

For those of you who are not familiar with Christianity, this might seem like trivial nuance. But for Christianity, it goes to the heart of what Christians believe.

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that what has come to be known as the Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - are one God. God’s Son is in fact present all throughout the Old Testament.  God did not create Jesus Christ.

A caller to Rush Limbaugh just now called Huckabee’s statement ‘bigotry’ and characterized it as ‘stooping’ and ‘negative campaigning.’  Let me tell you what it is. It is the truth.

I won’t speak for the staff at A Newt One but I believe they’ll back me up on this: I do not have any problem with quote-unquote ‘negative ads’ and ‘negative campaigning’ if it is truthful. I want to know what kind of shenanigans these politicians have been up to.

The fur is flying.  While the Mitt Romney camp will surely respond, I doubt you’ll hear them say “yeah, we believe that.” And Huckabee could have let fly the ‘Mormons believe that they can be gods of their own planets one day’ truth, and then what?

I believe it is worthwhile and relevant for Americans to know what Romney believes. He is not a Christian, though he’ll call himself that. The Bible and the Book of Mormon are in conflict with each other, and that’s putting it mildly.

So now it will be interesting to see if Romney will stand up and profess his faith as it is, or do what Mormons have been trying to do for decades; hide the truth of what they believe from the public eye.

And secret beliefs are very dangerous indeed.
