Today, I read somewhere (forgive me, I can't find it) that a pair of upset wins by Huckabee over Romney, in Iowa and New Hampshire, would guarantee Giuliani the nomination.
huh?
Analysis by non-sequiter?
If A beats B, it guarantees a win for C.
This whole absurd argument is built on the ridiculous premise that the nomination is inevitable for 'B' or 'C', so if one of them loses to 'A', the other will, by consequence, be assured the nomination. This logic is undercut by the fact that 'A' has two victories, while B and C each have zero. The liberal media is so determined to reduce the GOP contest to the two liberals- Romney and Giuiliani, that they are willing to rape logic to do so.
Think about this logically. By winning both States, Huckabee eliminates himself from contention, to say nothing of Romney, Thompson and McCain. This argument defies the simple, God-given common sense of even the most politically disengaged person.
Does an Iowa and New Hampshire sweep guarantee a Huckabee nomination? Not by a long shot. However, only a fool would argue the fact that an Iowa and New Hampshire sweep enhances Huckabee's chances and damages Giuiliani's.
