A NEWT ONE-THE TRUTH SURGE

CHRISTIANS, CULTS & THE UNCHURCHED

The Zulz outlines what’s what and why

Jimmy Z -  I’ve been arguing in the leftwinger-den chat room with godless atheists and upset agnostics blathering over whether or not Mormons are Christians. Their argument consists of taking the Mormon statement about ‘faith in Jesus’ from their websites and copying it, posting it to me, and saying, “see? They believe in Jesus, they’re Christians.”

If only it were so simple.  It’s not.  It’s like the outrageous (and funny) Monty Python parody film, The Life of Brian, a tale of mistaken identity wherein the simpleton Brian is mistaken for the Christ, and ends up living a life of mistaken identity and suffering a crucifixion. The Mormons may as well believe in Monty Python’s Brian.

If you don’t know the real Jesus, claiming faith in some guy named Jesus isn’t going to get you a cup of coffee, much less salvation.

Mormons are not Christians.  The funniest thing in the chat room was the non-Christian liberals telling me that Mormons were Christians.  Never mind that these atheists, agnostics and believers in heretical faith systems don’t have any idea what Christianity is.  God laid it all out very nicely in the Bible, but they’re not interested.

Why do they even bother to argue this? Because they know that Hillary could beat Mitt Romney more easily than John McCain. McCain is the Republican Shrillary does not want to face. So, they want Christians to be comfortable voting for Mitt.

So this leftist twit who goes by the handle/name ‘Crystal’ posts, “Zulz probably doesn’t even know the faith that Mormonism came from,” insinuating that I do not know my own faith, from which -  she believes -  Mormonism sprang.  I asked her simply, “Ok, you’re so smart, you tell me where Mormonism came from.”

Typically, most Moonbats avoid a specific answer at a time like that, because most of them know that I have am setting them up for a fall. However, Crystal wrote that the Book of Mormon was based on the Bible. I was delighted.

“Nope, you’re wrong Crystal. The Book of Mormon came from Joseph Smith’s beliefs in Freemasonry, yet another non-Christian cult. Needless to say, she never posted one more thing to me the rest of the day.

I will acknowledge that Mormons by and large are wonderful people, good family people, ‘moral’ people.  I will also acknowledge that Mitt Romney has viewpoints I agree with on some very important issues.  But is this enough for a Christian to vote for a Mormon? It ought not be.

Mormonism is a cult, which is to say that Mormons claim to be Christians but believe in outrageous satanic lies; so much so, in voting for a Mormon you might as well vote for a Wicca Witch. Mormons believe, among other things, that the god of the earth was one of many such gods roaming the universe and that he was once a man; that Jesus was the result of god actually having sex with Mary; and that Mormons too can aspire to be gods of their own little planets elsewhere; and that they can populate their planets by engaging in sex with many partners. All of this is, of course, heresy.

Mormons believe the book of Mormon is truly inspired by God and that the Bible is the lesser book. Well of course they do.

The conclusion for any real Christian believer must be that they cannot vote for Romney.  Now, if Romney were to beat Hillary without my assistance, I could probably live with him politically. But at the same time, his election would bring Mormonism into mainstream acceptance and like Bill Keller says, end up attracting a lot more people to the Mormon cult, and thus down a one way street to Hell.

I won’t tell you Christian readers what to do, but I will tell you this: If the Republican Party nominates Mitt Romney, they’ll have to get him in the White House without my vote, and I’ll be praying that Romney loses.
