CALLER NAILS THE BOTTOM LINE

This is exactly how I feel

Jimmy Z -  There is a valid argument out there that says, in a nutshell, let Hillary win because that sends a message to the Republican Blue Bloods in Washington that we will not accept these half-baked liberals masquerading at conservatives anymore.  We will wait for a genuine conservative to be forged out of our refusal to vote for RINOs. I respect that viewpoint.

But the caller to Rush Limbaugh last hour made a great point. It is certainly possible that the Congress will remain democrat led.  If Hillary is elected, this country could be decimated by her Presidency. We could very well end up with a massive federally run health care fiasco.  It would be likely that full amnesty would pass, and that the Mexican border would be wide open and the Border Patrol would become even less effective.

It would also be likely that we’d be hit again with another 9-11. If McCain is elected, the terrorists know he isn’t going to stand by and let such things happen. With a liberal female as president, I believe al qaeda would plan to attack ‘her country’ quickly and decisively.

The caller went on to say that America just cannot pay that price. I agree. The caller said that, therefore, he would crawl across broken glass to vote for McCain.  I agree with that too.

McCain is far from the perfect candidate for conservatives, but as SonlitKnight has said to well, he is someone we can work with. He’s honorable, and well spoken. He’s not going to sell out to liberal positions like Rudy would have.

It looks like it will come down to McCain vs. Hillary (I don’t believe for a moment that she will lose to Obama).  I will gladly vote for John McCain for President.
