If lung cancer is misdiagnosed and treated as tuberculosis, what will be the result? Our invasion of Afghanistan & Iraq is an analogous situation. President Bush misdiagnosed the world's condition: Islam, pronouncing it "radicalism".
Afghanistan & Iraq were conquered by Islam; the indigenous Hindus, Buddhists, Christians & pagans were slaughtered, driven out, converted to Islam at sword point or subjugated and extorted. The majority of citizens in both nations are Muslim.
President Bush, unaware of the tenets & practices of Islam, supposed that those nations could be conquered, subdued & converted from tyranny to democracy and thus rendered harmless. His supposition is entirely baseless. Pakistan, Afghanistan & Iraq were colonized and ruled for long periods by imperial powers inclined to govern more strictly than our forces, yet they were driven out and Islam recovered the reins of power, and resumed aggression. The imperative to conquer, exclude all competing belief systems and rule on a global scale is intrinsic to Islam. It is not a function of radicalism or extremism. Neither can it be removed or neutralized. The Qur'an tells Muslims that it is Allah's immutable word, complete and perfect. Perfection can not be improved upon.
The Qur'an tells Muslims that they must make Allah's word superior; they must fight pagans until only Allah is worshiped; Jews & Christians until they are subdued and pay extortion willingly, out of hand. The Qur'an makes great slaughter a prerequisite to holding prisoners for ransom. The Qur'an mandates casting terror into the hearts of Kuffar. The Qur'an mandates preparing every engine of war to terrify the enemy. Jihad is set forth as the price of salvation; avoiding eternity in the fire; obtaining admission to the celestial bordello.

Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526For those damned fools who dream of rendering Islam anodyne, I have another relevant quote from Moe, which will dispose of of their maundery with ample clarity.
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, "There is no god but Allah" and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.
Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.
There are two possible means of stopping Islamic aggression
- Eliminate Islam by causing mass apostasy or conversion.
- Eliminate Islam by ushering the Muslims into Hell.
There are only three alternatives:
- Join them.
- Be defeated, subjugated, enslaved and subsist in subhuman misery at the will and whim of the Caliph.
- Suffer perpetual attack until #2 comes to pass.
Islam is a predator. Predators seek weakness. Any evidence of insufficient capacity or will to defend oneself attracts predators. Our precipitous withdrawal from Beirut, Tehran & Mogadishu reinforced the lessons of Korea and Vietnam. The result: WTC 1 & WTC 2. Anything less than total victory on both fronts will encourage further attacks. Only removing Islam from the earth will prevent further attacks.
If we lack the will and resolve to eliminate Islam, we will be subjected to further attacks until our eventual defeat. Your descendants will be slaves.
