A NEWT ONE-THE TRUTH SURGE

OFFICE EMAIL DISCUSSION

Jimmy ZI got an email from a coworker, announcing that Romney will not endorse McCain and pass to McCain all of his delegates. My friend in the office said, ‘this ices it.’  What follows is my response:

Its been iced since before Romney bowed out of the race.

Romney is more conservative, perhaps, but he knows that it’s more important to beat Hilbama than to be involved in a ‘most conservative’ contest. Now we face the convincing of the conservatives who say they won’t vote for McCain.

Huck can and will stay in a little longer.  The beauty is, as you say, that we’re essentially done. We can fine tune our messages for the convention, and get things all in order, and show America a party that is united – divided on a few issues, but united behind our candidate.

Democrats are not only widely divided, but headed for a delegate battle royale, and a huge racial war during the convention. The Florida and Michigan delegates have been set aside, and Hillary wants them, and Obama does not want the rules changed midstream.  Sharpton is waiting on the sidelines and he will bring an epic protest if Clinton pursues these delegates (in states she won!), so you can expect a lot of full blown insanity, Clinton generated once again, and it’s going to cause McCain to win fairly convincingly in the general – because he can sit back and be a voice of calm unification.

Fantastic election year, the most fun of any of our elections in a very long time.
