In case you missed it, my brother’s email to me

Jimmy Z -  Here is the email my brother sent to me about his experience on the way to go skiing.

“For a large part of my life, I have worked with a staff, that was largely Mexican.  So, needless to say, through conversation over the years, I have learned all sorts of things about the Mexican culture.  Some of it amazing...some of it not so amazing.  Consequently, when I found these little trash cans behind each of the toilets at a popular "ski-stop" gas station-convenience store I stop at when heading up the mountains, I knew exactly what they were for, and was disgusted.  You see, in like 99% of Mexico, the plumbing is so bad, that you cannot flush toilet paper down the pipes....so they always throw their used paper behind their toilets.  Here and there, if I'm using a McDonald's restroom in some Mexican neighborhood or something, I'll see a piece or two wadded up and thrown behind on the floor, but have never seen an establishment actually cater to their ignorance about our plumbing.  I just don't get how management/ownership can sit there and say, "O.K., we've got people throwing s**t on the floor behind our toilets.  What should we do?  Post a sign in Spanish that informs them that can and must flush their paper down the toilet?  No, let's just give 'em a can so they can continue their nasty, disgusting, repulsive, yet uniformed habit!.” I mean, you go in their to use the bathroom, and you look in these cans, and they are halfway filled with wadded up toilet paper!  Ewwwww!  YUCK!  Yet another example of how, in today's insanely PC world, businesses will do to any length to accommodate even socially unacceptable behaviors in the name of diversity.”
