GERALDINE FERRARO LEARNS THE HARD WAY
Freedom of Speech? In the democrat party? Wachew talkin’ bout Willis!?
Jimmy Z - It doesn’t much matter if Geraldine Ferraro was right or wrong. She’s a goner.
The first woman to run on a major party ticket as vice president is now (and probably forever) has now made a ‘racist statement,’ and she’s toast. Goodbye. Hand in your resignation. We won’t be needing your services any longer. Pack it up, you’ve outlived your usefulness.
I’m not interested in defending Geraldine Ferraro. I love the fact that the democrats are in complete chaos, and I’m happy to see them imploding all over themselves.
Ms. Ferraro might have been right. I can see how a white candidate, with as preposterously nothing to say on the campaign trail as Barack Obama, would never have come this far. Sure, I get that.
Ms. Ferraro might have been wrong. I can see how Barack Obama has great charisma and is very well spoken; he’s a very likable fellow. Black, white, green or yellow, he’d probably be where he is.
So Geraldine could have been wrong, and she could have been right. I’m not sure we know yet, but isn’t it amazing to watch the democrats rise up and say, “you can’t saw that!”
Holy cow! We can’t?
Sometimes I think they’re just practicing for the general election campaign, so that Americans won’t think twice when the democrats call for John McCain to start lopping off some of this biggest campaign officials because of something supposedly offensive that they might say.
The whole thing is awfully scary, if you ask me. For our part, A Newt One isn’t interested in offending people for the sake of being offensive, but we’re certain the truth ends up offending some folks sometimes.
You’re going to need thicker skin, kids.
As for Barack’s color? Once again: He is neither black nor white, and he is both black and white. That’s the truth. He is as much white as he is black. Why doesn’t he say so and use that fact to unify, rather than allowing those around him to use his half-blackness to separate Americans by color?
I’m not sayin’ . . . I’m just sayin’.
