I have censored this recording somewhat to keep it within striking distance of the 'standards' we keep here at A Newt One, but there are three words you'll hear often - the n-word, ass, and 's--t', such as 'ignorant s--t' and 'tired of this s--t.'The issues that make this worth posting and - in my mind - listening to:
1 - It's hysterically funny. Chris Rock is perhaps the funniest man on the planet.
2 - Political correctness infuriates me, and no one has ever given political correctness the boot like Chris Rock does in this comedy routine.
3 - There really are two kinds of people in the black community. What he calls "black people and n--gaz" can also be characterized as decent people and indecent people.
4 - On the video version, you can see an audience of black people laughing they asses off, because they know it's funny, and it's funny because it's true.
5 - Catch the reference to keeping guns in his house? Chris Rock's a gun owner apparently, and he uses them to protect what is his - his property and his family.
6 - If, say, Jerry Seinfeld recited this routine first, do you think for one minute he could have gotten away with it?
7 - Do you think Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson appreciate "this s--t?" *L*
