This is yet another example of the plethora of straws that the Leftinistra are trapped into grasping for no other reason than to prove to everyone that comes across their posts to realize just how scared they are. One would think that a person of at least half a wit would know better but, Dr Rossiter explains it all in his book, The Liberal Mind - The Psychological Causes of Political Madness. The gathering of straw people is at Memeorandum and they are funny...not as in haha or anything but funny as in woefully silly.

Now as everyone that knows me through personal relationships (people from the blogosphere that have actually met me) and others in the blogosphere and elsewhere, knows that I am not a great big massive bucket of warm fuzzies when it comes to Senator John McCain. However, the alternative is certainly unthinkable. With that said and understanding the GWOT as I do, having fought in it, when John McCain said what he said today, I immediately knew what he was talking about and I also knew what the Leftinistra would do and how they would react. Just once, I wish the Leftinistra would learn how to respond rather than react. Like Allahpundit said recently:

The Leftinistra, at this stage of their ultimate demise, will plunge at anything. Naturally, they leap from the precipice of the Great Abyss of Obscurity to their own destruction and none too soon.

John McCain later clarified his remarks because the Leftinistra don't have the ability of rational thought. We all know that the oil issue is indeed a National Security issue and this country as many others depend on oil. That is a simple fact and the Leftinistra have for the last 30+ years stopped any "progress" towards getting this nation off of foreign oil dependency. Period. Anything that is said that denies that fact is a lie.

If the GWOT was about oil, there is no reason why it cost me nearly $100 to fill my truck's tank today. None. That argument is so retarded that the people that claim that lie as fact need to be locked away for their own safety. The picture says it all. The eco-wacko Nazis in the midst of the Democrat Party are the ones solely responsible if this war is about oil, plain and simple again. If it isn't about oil and it isn't, they are still responsible for being dependent on foreign oil. We have enough oil under our own soil to give the OPEC thieves a taste of their own medicine.

We can bring them to their knees without firing a shot and President Bush can make it so by Executive Order or a Presidential Finding. National Security is National Security.
