A NEWT ONE-THE TRUTH SURGE
~Snooper~

Having read the book War and Decision by Douglas J Feith one time through and now on page 34 for the second time through, I have come to the conclusion that the moonbattery we have witnessed these years since GWB "stole the election" is not only a result of a serious mental disorder but criminal as well. However, that is not what this post is about...or is it?

The Leftinistra, having not the ability to accept personal responsibility for their own actions and will always and forever blame someone else for their lack of abilities to discern truth and consequences, will no doubt participate in countless tirades of Geraldine's "the devil made me do it". I grow weary of them, the troll with 6 viewers Olberman being one of them. Had a "conservative" stated that which this sophomoric whiner has stated against a "liberal" they wold have long since lost their vocational privileges.

I set the book down and contemplated the Oil As A Weapon "doctrine" beginning on page 30. It is food for thought that the concept was set aside for one reason or another. His basic conclusion is as follows (paraphrasing): as long as there is government controls on oil, there will always be problems and issues. When the government stays out of the oil business, there will never be vehicles lined up waiting for their meager allotment of gasoline. Food for thought.

As I was considering that which I have read thus far, I ran across an article at the Washington Times Commentary section penned by none other than Victor Davis Hanson. This guy is all over the place, isn't he? I don't even place a scratch in the wax on his sheen when it comes to writing but we have come to the same conclusion...thus the title of this post.

He lists several books penned by those having been involved in the current war with each author pointing fingers in an attempt to cast doubt and pass questions on to someone else. It merely reveals how low politics has become and how shallow those sucked into the vortex of political correctness are. Truly sad.
[...] The only difference with the Iraq war is that in the modern age of instantaneous global communications, those involved right in the middle of it, at least on the American side, scramble to get their "true" story out first - and get even - well before the war is won or lost. In such an ongoing conflict, these memoirs are often out-of-date even before they hit the bookstores. [END]
I haven't come to that conclusion with War and Decision yet because I won't know until the third time through if it is a work of fiction or not. So far, I find it factual, interesting and personal. I have read two other books listed in his list and mentions and have determined that his conclusion, quoted above, is correct. The jury is still sequestered on the current tome.
