I'm writing to tell you about an exciting opportunity I
have before me. I have just entered a contest entitled "The Next Great
American Country Star" which is put on by Music Nation. There are many
hundreds of entries. I am very excited to tell you that I am currently
ranked NUMBER 1!!!

But I need your help. I need your
votes! Each weekly winner moves on. Being number 1 means I have a
target on my back, and the other artists who are ranked high are voting against
me. So I need you all to try to go on and vote for my video "A Soldier's
Wife".

Every time you go on to votes, all the videos in the contest are randomly put up
against each other head to head. Sometimes it takes over an hour for my
video to come up so you can vote for it. But sometimes it only takes a few
minutes. I understand if you can't sit in front of the computer for hours
hoping to vote, but if you can go on and try whenever you have time, you never
know when my video will pop up! You can also forward this e-mail on to
friends and family that might be willing to take the time and try to
vote.

If I win the vote for the week (which ends Monday at 10am) I
become a semi-finalist and have a chance to possibly move onto a television
competition on the GAC cable network. If I win that, I win a record
deal. Whether I win or not, the exposure for me and my song could be
huge.

And that's why I need your help. The competition will
run for two more weeks, but hopefully I can move on this week and hang onto the
number 1 position. If I don't win the vote, I also have a chance for the
"insiders" to pick me as a semi-finalist.

Whatever you can do to
help I will appreciate. At the very least I hope you will go to my Music
Nation profile and see the video for "A Soldier's Wife". We did it very
quickly to get it into the contest.

I'm actually working on getting
another higher quality video done for "A Soldier's Wife" that we hope to have
done in the next couple of weeks. I will certainly let you know when it is
ready to be viewed.
