McCain is toast. Done. Finished.

We may argue about the efficacy of why he should or should not be elected but let's just face reality. The John McCain campaign is going nowhere. No, worse than nowhere- it's going backwards.
If I didn't know better, I'd say he was trying to lose.

McCain's campaign has had every opportunity to show us that he is a principled, Conservative fighter. What has he shown us? He has shown us that he is just another psuedo-conservative jellyfish.

New Rasmussen polling today.

Tied at 44 in Virginia. Tie goes to the challenger (Obama) when the defacto incumbent (McCain) is below 45%. Down by 2 in Nevada.

Ok...so, once again, let's have the roll call of 2004 Bush states that McCain is bleeding in;

Virginia- 13 Electoral votes
Ohio- 20
North Carolina- 15
Iowa- 7
Montana- 3
Nevada- 5
North Dakota- 3
South Dakota- 3
New Mexico- 5
Colorado- 9

10 states, totaling 83 Electoral votes. Obama needs to pick up only 17 of these 83 votes to win the Presidency. He can do that in his sleep.

I see no logic in backing a party and a nominee that just flat out refuses to fight. This is, without question, the most politically gutless nominee the GOP has ever produced. He makes Bob Dole look spry. At least we will only have to suffer him for about 3 1/2 more months.
