A couple of weeks ago I was invited to contributed to A Newt One. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to participate with this fine site. From day one I was determined to write original posts for this site, ones extraordinary enough to be a part of this exceptional Internet home of Conservative Commentary.

I have wrestled with what my first post should be about. I wanted it to be something huge, loaded with incredible revelations, and hard-hitting politics. I have thought long and hard, and I have come to the decision that the best way to make a powerful impact is to simply forget my original thought, and do what I always do.

What has made Political Pistachio popular is the fact that I don't try to write at the reader. I just write what I think, no matter how edgy, or non-politically correct it may be. In other words, what has served me well is simply being myself.

Oh, sure, I plan to write what I hope to be extraordinary commentary for A Newt One, but I am not going to try to pack it with big intelligent words, or try to be some blow-hard with some high-brow schtick. I plan to instead be revolutionary, and unique - that means the posts will be packed with honest opinion, and strong conservative convictions.

This is what A Newt One has always done, so why would I write any differently? Why would I try to change upon the formula that has worked for A Newt One (and Political Pistachio) all along?

Thank you, my good friends, I am looking forward to being a part of this shining bastion of Conservatism on the Web - and I feel fortunate to have been asked to be a part of it.
