Return
to top Latest Rasmussen numbers TRACKBACK The latest results of Rasmussen's rolling sample are in. Obama got a typical bounce of about 6 points. What would also be typical is for the bounce to fade at about a point a week. Obama's bounce is fading much faster. Today's poll shows that Obama has already lost 2 points from his bounce since Sarah Palin was announced as the VP choice for McCain. That does not factor in Palin's speech. 1/3 of tomorrow's sample will factor in the speech, 2/3 of Saturday's. Starting Sunday, and into next week, voters will see the crest of the McCain bounce which I suspect will be substantially larger than the Czar's. Meanwhile, it looks like the left wing has fomented a serious backlash with their hysterical news coverage of Palin. By more than 10-1, voters think the media is out to hurt Sarah Palin.
