Foolishness and Senator Reid...Synonymous Terms

The retarded letter to 'destroy" El Rushbo has raised millions to benefit True American Heroes.

OK. The Reid Letter. Seeing that ReidCos' constituency in his own state of Nevada cannot stomach the thought of the ignorant fool, he continues to revel in obscurity by taking credit for the $2,100,1000.00 letter intended to sink Rush. Rush has matched the $2,100,100.00 raised bringing the total to $4,200,200.00 being donated to the families of Marines and First Responders that have given their lives in the name of God, Country and Flag.

The only thing, in this regard, that Dingy Harry can remotely take credit for is his own personal stupidity. He needs to fire his public relations morons. He and they or both together, tried to make an issue out of a non-issue for retaliation of the failed and internationally embarrassing of the Soros funded MoveOn ad which backfired and got the proponents thereof filthy dirty.

Reid needs to retire into the Abyss of Obscurity before we throw him into it.

El Rushbo had this to say to address Reid's "udder" and blatant ignorance:

"There's a way to translate Harry Reid's Senate floor speech today: 'Rush, you win.'"

"Senator Reid, let me be clear about this one more time: it wasn't your letter that raised this money -- it was your abuse of power."

"Harry Reid said, 'We didn't have time, or we could have gotten every Senator to sign the letter.' Just write another letter and have the remaining senators sign it -- we'll put it back on eBay and do it all over again!"
Reid, is a moron. Instead of apologizing to the American people for the failed attempt of "censoring" a PRIVATE citizen for speaking his mind about a verified and confirmed phony soldier, the tiny-minded flake tries to employ the usual troll distraction technique and passing the blame of failure onto someone or something else.

Personal responsibility to trolls like ReidCo is an alien concept. They talk the talk but are incapable of walking the walk.

ReidCo's pathetic email to gain support for his own tail-spinning ignorance is here.

El Rushbo knows how to apply Maxwell's Silver Hammer.

Simply amazing. here we are in the middle of a war for our survival as a nation and idiots like Reid try every day and at every opportunity to ensure our defeat.

That is as unAmerican as anyone can GET AND YES, I DO CHALLENGE THEIR PATRIOTISM!!

Seeing How The Loser Left Keeps Pushing Loser Themes

Now that the world has seen how the Leftinistra have been embarrassed once again with the poor innocent 12 year old was abused by its parents, let us see how much more the Leftinistra can be embarrassed, shall we?

MSLSD's Chris I Am A Moppet Fool Mathews: (and my ratings suck)
“Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh says veterans who support withdrawing the troops are ‘phony soldiers.’ Those are his words.” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews opening Hardball on September 28
Poor slog. Pushing those lies. To be "fair", his was an opening volley. Rush merely returned fire for affect and shut the fool down.

Host Keith Olbermann: “Comedian Rush Limbaugh tries to back out of his quote: Servicemen protesting the war are quote ‘phony soldiers.’”

Rush Limbaugh: “I never said what you think I said.”

Olbermann: “Not only did he, now he said something similar about the Congressman and Vietnam vet Jack Murtha.”
— MSNBC’s Countdown, September 28
And Jack The Judge Jury and Executioner of Haditha Marines Murtha deserved every bit of it, moron.

“A top Democrat is coming out guns blazing against conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. It’s an angry new shot in the dispute over the war in Iraq and Limbaugh’s charge that some veterans who are criticizing the war are, in his words, quote, ‘phony soldiers.’”
— CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room, October 1.
Another fool shut down by Truth from El Rushbo.

“Why don’t you just brush off these comments by Limbaugh, like an annoying gnat, instead of legitimizing them and bringing more attention to them?”
— Co-host Meredith Vieira to former Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark, who is pushing to get Limbaugh removed from Armed Forces Radio, on NBC’s Today, October 3.
That worked out well, eh?

Anchor Charles Gibson: “A Closer Look tonight at phony heroes....Increasingly, scam artists are posing as the war heroes they never were, claiming credit for acts of courage in Iraq and Afghanistan. Federal officials have launched a crackdown. Operation Stolen Valor they call it. Tonight, our Brian Ross investigates.”...

Reporter Brian Ross: “The authorities say the most disturbing case involves this man: 23-year-old Jesse Macbeth. In a YouTube video seen around the world, Macbeth became a rallying point for anti-war groups as he talked of the Purple Heart he received in Iraq and described how he and other U.S. Army Rangers killed innocent civilians at a Baghdad mosque. It was a complete fabrication.”
— ABC’s World News September 24, outlining the same bogus soldier Limbaugh discussed on his radio show.
I guess it is OK for the Lame Stream Media to say such things but no one else?

Morons.

See other Notable Quotables here...

"...Thank you Hillary for calling out Petraeus for what he is, a liar and a distorter of facts...."

"...Petraeus is trying to help the Bushies hide their war crimes and war lies behind Petraeus's uniform, a uniform which Petraeus has now disgraced by his working most every MSM venue like a champion media whore..."

"...Remember Matthews's snide Charlie McCarthy/puppet poke next time he or other liberals claim to respect the military..."

"..."your rather extraordinary efforts in your testimony both yesterday and today, the report that you provided for us really requires a willing suspension of disbelief."..." Hillary Clinton the Budding Leninist

[...]

Well now, I wonder what any of the above have said about the troops.

Senator Harry Reid: "That this war is lost, and that the surge is not accomplishing anything."

Senator John Kerry: "If you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Congressman John Murtha: "Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood."

Senator Dick Durbin: "If I read this to you and didn't tell you it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have happened by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags or some mad regime, Pol Pot or others that had no concern for human beings."
All of the above quotes are directed towards the then current military forces, the then and currently serving in the GWOT. Shameful, isn't it?

The difference is this. Rush made the comment about a once hero to the anti-Aericanists and the Leftinistra said it about CURRENTLY serving military members.

THAT'S the difference, morons.

[...]

At any rate, the letter backfired and once again, became yet another international embarrassment and the Abyss of Obscurity for the Leftinistra and the anti-Americanists gets deeper and deeper.

[...]

Sen. John Kerry once told Bob Schieffer on CBS' "Face the Nation" that "there is no reason that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women . . . ." This was a more modest reprise of his post-Vietnam charges that U.S. troops had raped, tortured and pillaged in the tradition of Genghis Khan.

[...]

Then there's the famous utterance by Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., after the incident at Saddam's Abu Ghraib prison: "We now learn that Saddam's torture chamber (has) reopened under new management."

[...]
Limbaugh's hypocritical critics aren't concerned about the demeaning of our troops in Iraq. They want to demean those who support our war on terror, whether in Iraq or the broadcast booth.

Yep. Certainly is amazing. Catch the wave...

Help Support El Rushbo...Sign The Petition...NOW NOW NOW

One failure after another, Washington Democrats have built a record of legislative failure; one disappointment after another, Washington Democrats have failed to deliver results to the people who got them there.

This must be why, just nine months into their tenure, the Democrat-led Congress hit an 11% approval rating – that is the lowest in recorded history. Facing their record of failure, Washington Democrats decided to try and distract – and so they took a man’s words out of context, then they went on the attack.

It is at moments like these when we need to band together as conservatives and fight back. That is exactly what the Red State community and so many other conservatives around the country have been doing.

This issue is bigger than you or me, it is bigger than Rush Limbaugh. With the recent liberal effort to resurrect the "fairness doctrine," we have to recognize that free speech -- conservative free speech is under direct attack. These are issues that speak directly to the core of the modern conservative movement – are we going to allow ourselves to be pushed around by liberal extremists, or are we going to fight back?

I want to send Washington Democrats a message that their attempts to distract aren’t working – I stand with Rush Limbaugh against liberal attacks.

A Pathetic Email From A Pathetic "man" Whiner ReidCo

I have no pity on his fool, the dishonorable Senator from Nevada, Land Fraud Dealings Harry Reid. He deserves absolutely ZERO respect because he hasn't earned any.

At every turn and at every opportunity, he works ever so hard at demeaning and abasing my fellow Warriors and seeks to utterly demoralize my fellow Warriors in his quest for a military defeat in the GWOT and political victory for him and his fellow cowards, whiners, traitors and contemptible fools.

I look upon him and his genre of unpatriotic fools with total contempt and disdain.

Clear Communications has trounced this poor troll in his quest to save face and NOTHING he can do will enable him to save face. As El Rushbo has stated and I agree, ReidCo needs to resign, step down and retire to his personal and private Abyss of Obscurity. He can then sponge off of and mooch from the American People via his retirement package paid for via taxes and he richly deserves not.

This is the pathetic email: he lies in the first sentence...go figure. I removed the links.

I normally ignore Rush Limbaugh, but his comments last Wednesday went too far for me to remain silent. It's one thing to call me "Dingy Harry" - it's another to insult our men and women in uniform, calling those who oppose the war "phony soldiers" as Rush did during his Sept. 26 broadcast.

Of course, Rush continued his tirade Monday by denying he had said anything wrong and attacking John Murtha, who served 37 years in the Marines.

This week, 41 Democrats signed a letter to Clear Channel CEO Mark Mays, demanding that Rush apologize.

You can send your own letter to Mays by clicking here.

In December 2006, a poll run by the Military Times found that only 35 percent of service members approved of President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq. Would Rush consider every other Soldier, Sailor, Airman and Marine to be phony? What about General John Batiste who retired from active duty in order to speak out against this war?

Rush has the courage to sit behind a microphone and lash out at those who oppose George Bush's misadventure in Iraq - yet when it was his time to serve, he received a deferment and has never worn a uniform.

Limbaugh's show is broadcast on Armed Forces Radio, and therefore service members around the world heard his insults. It's time for Clear Channel to make Rush apologize.

Demand that Clear Channel CEO Mark Mays take action by clicking here.

Rush certainly has the right to say whatever he wants - but we have an obligation to speak out when he goes too far.

Thank you,

Harry Reid

What a pathetic liar this twit is indeed. With everything this idiot and shallow little man has said about the CIC and military commanders and his refusal to renounce MoveOn, he dares take a comment removed from context and makes a a mountain out of a mole-hill?

Jerk.

Just So All Will Know Who The Political Trolls Are

The following is "the" letter that was meant to sink the ship of El Rushbo. Nothing like bringing a butter knife to a Howitzer fight, eh?

The signatores are the political trolls being led around by the short hairs by the loony lefty moonbats of the fruit loop brigades.

Isn't the Abyss of Obscurity too small? Oh. Wait. The Leftinistra have their own shovels. My bad.

Add Firedoglake to the long list of stupids.

Washington, DC-Senate Democrats today sent the following letter to Mark P. Mays, CEO of Clear Channel Communications, calling on him to publicly repudiate Rush Limbaugh's characterization of troops who speak out against the Iraq war as "phony soldiers." Despite recent Republican comments condemning verbal attacks on our troops, when given the opportunity to join us in signing this letter, not a single one did so.

The text of the letter is below and attached:

October 2, 2007

Mr. Mark P. Mays
CEO, Clear Channel Communications Inc.
200 East Basse Road
San Antonio, TX 78209

Dear Mr. Mays,

At the time we sign this letter, 3,808 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq, and another 28,009 have been wounded. 160,000 others awoke this morning on foreign sand, far from home, to face the danger and uncertainty of another day at war.

Although Americans of goodwill debate the merits of this war, we can all agree that those who serve with such great courage deserve our deepest respect and gratitude. That is why Rush Limbaugh's recent characterization of troops who oppose the war as "phony soldiers" is such an outrage.

Our troops are fighting and dying to bring to others the freedoms that many take for granted. It is unconscionable that Mr. Limbaugh would criticize them for exercising the fundamentally American right to free speech. Mr. Limbaugh has made outrageous remarks before, but this affront to our soldiers is beyond the pale.

The military, like any community within the United States, includes members both for and against the war. Senior generals, such as General John Batiste and Paul Eaton, have come out against the war while others have publicly supported it. A December 2006 poll conducted by the Military Times found just 35 percent of service members approved of President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq, compared to 42 percent who disapproved. From this figure alone, it is clear that Mr. Limbaugh's insult is directed at thousands of American service members.

Active and retired members of our armed forces have a unique perspective on the war and offer a valuable contribution to our national debate. In August, seven soldiers wrote an op-ed expressing their concern with the current strategy in Iraq. Tragically, since then, two of those seven soldiers have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq.

Thousands of active troops and veterans were subjected to Mr. Limbaugh's unpatriotic and indefensible comments on your broadcast. We trust you will agree that not a single one of our sons, daughters, neighbors and friends serving overseas is a "phony soldier." We call on you to publicly repudiate these comments that call into question their service and sacrifice and to ask Mr. Limbaugh to apologize for his comments.

Sincerely,

Senator Harry Reid, Majority Leader
Senator Richard Durbin, Assistant Majority Leader

All of the above quotes are directed towards the then current military forces, the then and currently serving in the GWOT. Shameful, isn't it?

Why is it that the Leftinistra will not or can not be honest? Why do they insist on supporting the outed and known phony soldiers? Could it be that the phony soldiers support the anti-Americanist, aka "peace activist" rantings?

At any rate, the letter backfired and once again, became yet another international embarrassment and the Abyss of Obscurity for the Leftinistra and the anti-Americanists gets deeper and deeper.

Despite their efforts, we will know the truth, and the truth will keep us free.

People are distancing themselves from the far-left fruit loop brigades:

Edward Padgett, a Los Angeles blogger who spread the word about MoveOn's attempt to silence critics, laments:

"For several years I have found MoveOn.org to be an inspirational anti-war group, but the past few weeks they have been an embarrassment to all Americans with their attacks upon President Bush and General Petraeus. I subscribe to the MoveOn newsletter, and even considered hosting an anti-war rally in San Dimas, but now I want no part of this radical group and will remove my name from their newsletter subscription . . . I guess to MoveOn, the First Amendment is only for the rich."

I love it.

Here is the rejection letter hand-delivered to the spineless milquetoast Moron Reid:

October 2, 2007

The Honorable Harry Reid
S-221 United States Capitol
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Majority Leader Reid:

I want to thank you and your Senate Democratic colleagues for sharing your concern over recent comments made by Rush Limbaugh on his daily radio program. First let me say that the men and women who wear the uniform in defense of our country deserve the utmost respect and gratitude from each and every one of us whom they serve to protect. I assure you that I fully agree with your statement that "not a single one of our sons, daughters, neighbors and friends serving overseas is a phony soldier." As a grateful American citizen, I would reject anyone's contention to the contrary.

Mr. Limbaugh's comments last week have stirred a lot of emotion, and I have carefully read the transcript from the episode in question. I hope you will appreciate that I cannot speak with authority as to whom exactly Mr. Limbaugh's comment were directed, or what was his intent. Only Mr. Limbaugh can speak to those issues, which he has done.

I can say, however, that over the years Mr. Limbaugh has repeatedly praised the dedication and valor of our brave men and women in uniform. Given Mr. Limbaugh' history of support for our soldiers, it would be unfair of me to assume his statement were intended to personally indict combat soldiers simply because they didn't share his own beliefs regarding the war in Iraq. However, if Mr. Limbaugh's intention was to classify any soldier opposed to the war in Iraq as a "phony soldier," which he denies, then I, along with most Americans, would be deeply offended by such a statement.

While I do not agree with everything Mr. Limbaugh says on every topic, I do believe that he, along with every American, has the right to voice his or her opinion in the manner they choose. The First Amendment gives every American the right to voice his or her opinion, no matter how unpopular. That right is one that I am sure you agree must be cherished and protected.

As the Chief Executive Officer of clear Channel, I support each of our on-air talent's right to express his or herself freely, as long as they do it within the confines of the laws set forth by Congress. For this reason, I have not and will not impose my own views upon any of our on-air talent. Doing so would, quite frankly, undermine the integrity of the broadcast, undercut the trust with our listeners that they are receiving the true and honest opinions of the radio host, and more importantly fly directly in the face of the right to free speech that we hold so dear.

Each and every day, Clear Channel airs a broad diversity of viewpoints from Rush Limbaugh on the right to Air America on the left of the political spectrum. It is inevitable, with so many different perspectives, that an on-air personality will challenge or even offend another segment of the public. I too an sometimes offended by words that are directed at me or a particular belief I hold. However, as a broadcaster and leader of this company, I will always defend the right of our employees and contracted talent to voice their opinions under the protections provided by the First Amendment.

I want to thank you and your colleagues for writing me regarding this matter. Again, I regret that you and others were offended by Mr. Limbaugh's statement, regardless of what its intended meaning may have been. I hope that you understand and support my position that while I certainly do not agree with all views voiced on our stations, I will not condemn our talent for exercising their right to voice them.

Sincerely,

Mark P. Mays
Chief Executive Officer

Senate Democrat attacks Rush Limbaugh over 'unpatriotic' speech
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) launched an attack from the U.S. Senate floor Monday against noted conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh -- accusing the radio personality of uttering "unpatriotic comments."

Congress: The anti-war left is trying to slime a major conservative pundit, but Rush Limbaugh was right about the left's "phony soldiers," and Kerry, Murtha, Durbin et al. have called our troops far worse.

Media And War: Ever since the Sept. 10 testimony of Gen. David Petraeus, we've heard less and less from the mainstream media about the war in Iraq. The old adage "no news is good news" has never been truer.

Nuclear Terrorism: A statement by Tehran's top nuclear official suggests the terrorist state's uranium enrichment program is past the point of no return. Could even a full shutdown reverse Iran's ability to devise a bomb?

Entitlements: Political candidates routinely do the obligatory baby-kissing. Hillary Clinton wants to give each baby a check. Never mind that she'll get the money by raising their parents' taxes

Welfare: Democrats shamelessly exploit an injured 12-year-old to promote expanding insurance to those who already have it. Meanwhile, Sen. Schumer defends a program that taxes the poor to give to the well-off.

Politics: Ted Kennedy attaches hate crime legislation to a needed defense authorization bill. Is he more interested in defending the U.S. or the gay rights agenda?

Distraction
I am indeed going to ask the committee to ask for an investigation by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) of the status of independent contractors relative to American law.

Recognition of a loser tactic
All told, the Democratic proposal for an “Iraq tax” lasted about four hours. That’s roughly the amount of time from when House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey (D-Wis.) gave life to the idea with his endorsement to when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) strangled it.

Science must ultimately destroy organized religion, according to some of the leading atheist writers and intellectuals who spoke at a recent atheist conference in Northern Virginia. Rush...The New American Hero Takes On All Callers...And Wins

Cross posted from Wake up America

Last night I showed you the text of Clear Channel's response to the idiocy that Harry Reid sent them.

You can recap the whole fiasco here where I have all my Rush Limbaugh, Harry Reid posts on one page. (That page has the full Rush Limbaugh transcript, video, history of Hillary Clinton and Media Matters...everything to do with this controversy.)

For those that do not like clicking links, here is the short version:

Harry Reid along with some other Democratic politicians decided to make even bigger fools of themselves than they already had made of themselves, when they jumped on the Media Matters distortion of what Rush Limbaugh said, and then they wrote to whine to Rush's boss at Clear Channel.

Reids goal was to Try to further perpetuate the original lies that Media Matters reported by showing only partial transcripts and portions of the video/audio of a discussion that Rush Limbaugh was having about "phony soliders" like Jesse MacBeth, who was sentenced for fraud after being embraced as the the darling of the anti-military crowd, until they discovered all his horror stories were outright lies.

Media Matters distortion was that Rush was talking about "any" soldier that disagreed with our action in Iraq was a phony soldier. The full transcript shows the truth and the context in which the term "phony soldiers" was used, which had Media Matters shown the full thing everyone would have seen and heard that 35 seconds after those comments with his caller, he made sure to reference Jesse Macbeth.

Instead they led the Democratic politicians right off the cliff.

The whole transcript of what Rush said can be found here.

We now see that Iraq soldiers are emailing Rush Limbaugh to show support for him because they actually read the whole transcript and see and are stating the ridiculousness of the Democrats and far left liberal unhinged position on this whole manufactured controversy.

EMAIL #1:

Dear Rush,

Mega-dittos from one of the soldiers adopted for your Rush 24/7. I'm writing this from the MWR in Tallil AFB, Iraq. After reading your Friday "phony soldiers" monologue, I had Democrats pegged as stuck on stupid and it's still hard to believe they are THAT stupid to accuse you of besmirching us, given their track records. And, come to think of it, they besmirch us yet again at the same time they accuse you because to go by whatever they pass off as "reasoning", to believe that you besmirched us would be lumping all REAL soldiers and veterans with Jesse MacBeth and all other scumbags like him.

What was the point of passing the recent "Stolen Valor Act"? Well, anyway, here's a copy of the email I sent to my House Rep, John Carter R-TX; as well as my Senators, Kay Bailey Hutchison R-TX and John Cornyn R-TX. It reads:

Dear Senator Cornyn,

I am a soldier in the Texas Army National Guard currently deployed and stationed in Iraq. I am with the 3/144th Infantry and we are at Tallil AFB. I'm also a fan of the radio comedian, Rush Limbaugh. I have been since I first watched his TV show in the early '90s and listened to his radio show all through college. Currently, I am a free subscriber, under his Adopt-a-Soldier Program, to his Rush 24/7 service and I always read his webpage when I access the Internet at the MWR here. So I'm calling your attention to this page here:

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_092807/content/01125106.guest.html

As you read it, you will see that Rush is being accused, falsely, of trying to besmirch the troops with a commentary he made recently about "phony soldiers." I read that particular commentary when it was posted and it was quite clear to me that his main focus of that commentary was a man (and I use the term loosely, I might add) named Jesse MacBeth, a star of the "anti-war"/pro-Al-Qaeda movement who became such a celebrity after he claimed to some news outlet that he was a former Corporal in the US Army Rangers, recipient of the Purple Heart, and a witness to atrocities committed by US troops in Iraq -- all of which were not only proven false, but MacBeth himself has been convicted this past week of submitting a false VA Claim and falsifying his DD-214. As it turned out, he was in the Army...for all of 44 days. He didn't graduate basic training, let alone Ranger School, so he was never in Iraq and never got the Purple Heart. He was one of many frauds and hoaxes propped by the Democratic Party and groups like Media Matters, Code Pink, and MoveOn.org in an attempt to push their agenda.

As you read further, you will find some of the most ridiculous and hypocritical commentary ever uttered by members of Congress in our history coming from DNC Chair Howard Dean, Webb, Schakowsky, and especially John Kerry among others, all with a clear history of besmirching -- and in the case of Murtha, actually Nifonging -- the troops themselves. That is some of the most ridiculous BS I've ever heard from politicians and would actually be funny if I wasn't over here. These freaks have no room to talk, and even now by accusing Rush Limbaugh of besmirching us, they are still besmirching us by trying to bring us down to the level of Jesse MacBeth and his ilk. Now that's real insulting, and I would want my congressman to call those a[-----]es (excuse the language but I don't know what else to call them that can actually be nice) on it. What was the point of the recently-passed Stolen Valor Act? They owe us an apology for this, not Rush. Rush Limbaugh has been one of the most supportive voices we have left in the media, with quite a few servicemen who may very well owe their freedom and reputations to him for his publicly defending them while they're being Nifonged by the media and certain members of Congress. I wouldn't listen to him nor read his website daily if he wasn't. So I'm asking of you, sir, not only to defend Rush and his First Amendment Rights, but more to defend our honor and reputations from those of your colleagues in the House and the Senate who say they support us on one hand and then undermine, besmirch, and Nifong all of us, from the President and Gen. Petraeus to the newest private. Don't let their sickening hypocrisy stand. Call them out on the floor -- and do it publicly, please.

I thank you for your time, SSG David [----]
D Company, 3/144th Infantry
LSA Adder, Tallil, APO AE 09331

Well, that's my letter in a nutshell. Use it if you wish, because that kind of hypocrisy from the likes of Kerry and his ilk shouldn't stand. I also sent a copy to Hannity. Thanks for the years of fun watching your TV show and listening to you on the radio.

Keep up the great work.

Dave

EMAIL #2:

Dear Rush,

I can think of countless times that I felt the desire to write and tell you how I felt about a subject. I think I finally found something that I could not stay quiet on any longer. This phony soldier story has disgusted me like no other. I am currently deployed to Iraq for my third time. Your Adopt-a-Soldier Program has enabled me to listen everyday by downloading your program and I have always taken great pride in your support of the military. My parents turned me on to listening to you a decade ago and I listen every minute I can. I have also taken great pride in also being a fellow Missourian, from Lake of the Ozarks here myself. I am writing this while I am listening to a downloaded copy of Friday's program. This is one soldier that cannot convey enough the disgust I have for these liberals. To totally take your comment out of context like this and demean you in this way is disgusting, especially from people that disgust me. One of your sound bites was from a woman that quoted poll numbers from soldiers that say we should pull out, and numbers that say we should pull out now.

I'm not sure where she got her numbers, because she didn't ask anyone in my company. My company would be quite the opposite way. To be honest, there isn't a one of us that wouldn't rather be home, but we support the war, support our mission, and support why we are here, one and all. I have been in the 101st Airborne for the majority of the last 11 years. I served under then Major General Petraeus during Operation Iraqi Freedom I, when we first crossed the border. I have met him and consider him to be a great man. What these liberals did to him angers me. I know I am rambling Rush, and for that I apologize. I am extremely angry about how Iraq is portrayed. We are winning this like no one back home would ever understand. I am extremely angry about what is being said about you over this phony soldier story. I am extremely angry about how none of these liberals are called on their lies and attacks against George Bush and Iraq. I guess I just want to express my tremendous support of you Rush and how much you are appreciated by some of the soldiers out here.

Keep up the good fight,

Paul [-----]

These emails echo what I am receiving myself in support of Rush, one of which was left in my comments section of the first post I did on this subject:

This was left in the comment section of this post and I am putting it on top-- (This post)

I am a soldier in the U.S. Army. I served for a year in Iraq. Senator Reid, where are these "thousands" of soldiers who oppose the war? I didn't meet them in uniform. I submit, Senator Reid, that they are a product of your putrid imagination -- phantom, phony soldiers indeed.

Senator Reid, the thing about this war that frustrates us soldiers more than anything else are the intentional, malicious and subversive efforts by you and your cronies to undercut our mission. You, Senator Reid, are a far more virulent enemy of the United States than anything we have confronted in Iraq. We can deal directly with the enemies we face in combat. Be thankful that we have to deal with you through more civil means. (John Breland)

Fred Thompson nails it right on the head.

Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

I think the comments and emails from our troops are answering that question loud and clear.

Rush, himself points out what I have pointed out previously, the Democrats are trying to distract and distort for a reason, because they understand that they have failed their supporters and they are hiding from that by manufacturing false controversy.

What Harry Reid and Tom Harkin are doing is predictable. It's what all leaders of all top-down, repressive movements do. They find ways to rile up and distract their dissatisfied, disaffected, and disappointed followers. It's a convenient and non-substantive way to stay in power. After all, Harry Reid and Tom Harkin and all the other Democrats have failed miserably to come through on what their supporters have demanded of them, and that is to end the Iraq war and bring the troops home. So they have to distract from their own failures. Their General Petraeus ad was an absolute disaster. They need to change the subject. They need to try to redeem themselves after that disaster, and they do so by focusing on me because they know that their lunatic fringe base hates me, and if anybody is being distracted, ladies and gentlemen, it's the Democrat base. The Democrat base is being distracted from noticing the abject failure of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to deliver on what their supporters consider their mandate to be following the November '06 elections.

They are also trying to distract from the hugely unsuccessful attempt by MoveOn to smear a four star General by attempting to attack his credibility.

As I have pointed out many times before and I will CONTINUE to point out until they understand....we are not going to let them forget.

Ever.

By the way, just to show the far left and Democratic politicians that their distortions will not distract us as they wish it would, I am showing ALL previous posts about the MoveOn debacle they are trying so hard to hide from by creating this false smear job and false controversy regarding Rush.

You cannot hide, you cannot run, you cannot distract us from making sure everyone knows who did vote to condemn Moveon.org and more importantly who did not stand by our General and our troops in a time of war and would not condemn the group for attacking General Petraeus.

This will follow you into 2008 and myself and dozens and dozens of others will see to it that you are not allowed to hide from this.

Michelle Malkin calls this pathetic attempt to distract, "Bottom-of-the-barrel desperation.".

I must agree.

Pathetic attempts like this are simply more proof that Democrats have a unique ability to continue to shoot themselves in the head, over and over and over again.

Keep it up, PLEASE.

More discussion at memeorandum.

Definitely read NRO, Hugh Hewitt.

I would really like to see our troops in Iraq polled on how many think Rush Limbaugh supports them compared to how many think the Democratic politicians support them.

That would be a huge eye opener and embarrassment for the far left liberal unhinged.

Clear Channel Tells ReidCo To Shut Up and Sit Down

HT to The Politico

The pdf letter is here:

Freedom of Speech only applies to the Leftinistra.
"While I certainly do not agree with all views that are voiced on our stations, I will not condemn our talent for exercising their right to voice them," Mays wrote.

ReidCo was given this letter via hand-delivery after ReidCo demanded that Rush be "censored". What a moron ReidCo and ITS genre of pathetic worms are.

"Reid" the rest of the letter. It is 2 pages long. For you anti-Americanist Moonbats, that is one more than one and one less than three. I think you can handle that.

Basically, Clear Channel, in poli-speak, told ReidCo to STFU and STFD and to pound sand because how dare ReidCo deny someone's Free Speech Rights because they don't agree with what was said.

Hell, ALL of the White Flaggers have denegrated the combat troops in one form or another and have hailed the phony soldiers as heroes. One of them is in jail at this moment.

Retarded morons. I agree with Rush. Reid should resign. He is an international embarrassment.

LIMBAUGH'S COMPROMISE TO PULL OUT OF IRAQ

From A Newt One

"I want to present a hypothetical here. I know this would not happen, but I'll offer a compromise, the Limbaugh compromise to the Democrats in the Senate and in the House.

The Limbaugh compromise: I will agree to pull our troops out of Iraq if you Democrats will agree to my conditions after the defeat, and here are my conditions to agree with you on a pullout.

"When Al-Qaeda celebrates after we pull out, after we admit defeat, every TV image of Al-Qaeda celebrating must be a split screen. On one side, Al-Qaeda celebrating; on the other side, I want pictures of Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer and Carl Levin smiling and congratulating themselves.

"When Al-Qaeda slaughters Iraqis after we pull out and we see the pictures of this on TV, every TV image must show a split screen. On one side of the screen, the bloody slaughter scenes; on the other side of the screen, pictures of smiling Harry Reid, smiling Chuck Schumer, smiling Carl Levin congratulating each other with big laughs.

"When Al-Qaeda takes over another village, ransacks another village, another town, another city, after we pull out, on one side of the screen, I want desperate villagers running for their lives. On the other side of the split screen, I want pictures of smiling Harry Reid, smiling Chuck Schumer, smiling Carl Levin, shaking hands and embracing and congratulating themselves.

"When the American flag burners in the Middle East start burning their flags and the president and vice president in effigy, I want one side of the split screen to show every image of that happening. I want the flag burners. I want the characters of Bush and Cheney being burned in effigy, and on the other side of the split screen, I want pictures of a smiling Harry Reid, a smiling Chuck Schumer, a smiling Carl Levin embracing, shaking hands, laughing and congratulating themselves.

"I think that's a reasonable compromise, and I've offered it here in all sincerity. If the left will agree to this compromise, I will join them in calling for a pullout from Iraq."--Rush Limbaugh (Running America according to Democrats)

Rush On The Slumber Blabathon

OUT OF 100 AMERICANS, ONLY 14 APPROVE OF THE DEMOCRAT CONGRESS.

Ouch! *L*

Cartoon (c)rushlimbaugh.com

"Harry Reid needs to change its focus. He needs to get back to doing what he does best and that's sleazy land deals with his kids. It's time for him to go home to Searchlight, Nevada, wherever he lives. He's in the big leagues now, but he can't seem to swing the bat. The bat just stays on his shoulder, and when he does swing, he misses. If I'm a Democrat or liberal, I would demand new leadership. They can sit there all day long and complain and whine about Bush, but I'll tell you, Harry Reid is proving to be an embarrassment."

Rush Says...

Rush On Immigration

Rush On Immigration

Wednesday, May 23, 2007 11:12 AM

I love Rush…

Excerpt:

You’re going to hear the exact opposite from all of the so-called experts. “We gotta do a bill. We gotta do something. The status quo just won’t…” yes, better than this. It’s really even a misnomer to call this immigration. This is not about immigration reform. This is not immigration. There’s no assimilation here. That’s not what this is. What this is, is an attempt to remake the United States culture and society as liberals envision it and would love it to be, and that is a culture and society that keeps them perpetually in power. That’s what this is. There’s a romantic attachment to the whole term “immigration.” We are a nation of immigrants, goes the phrase, we are the melting pot, blah, blah, blah. I think the word immigration somehow does a little bit of a disservice here. Not a purposefully done thing. It’s just confusing to people. We’re not talking about immigration in a traditional sense that it has been discussed as a way to build this country.
