| Myth | Fact | | Islam: Religion of peace. | Sahih BukhariVolume 6, Book 61, Number 509 Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: Abu Bakr As-Siddiq sent for me when the people! of Yamama had been killed (i.e., a number of the Prophet's Companions who fought against Musailama). (I went to him) and found 'Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said (to me), "Umar has come to me and said: "Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" 'Umar said, "By Allah, that is a good project. "Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest for it and I began to realize the good in the idea which 'Umar had realized." Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Apostle. So you should search for (the fragmentary scripts of) the Qur'an and collect it in one book)." By Allah If they had ordered me to shift one of the mountains, it would not have been heavier for me than this ordering me to collect the Qur'an. Then I said to Abu Bakr, "How will you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" Abu Bakr replied, "By Allah, it is a good project." Abu Bakr kept on urging me to accept his idea until Allah opened my chest for what He had opened the chests of Abu Bakr and 'Umar. So I started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. The Verse is: 'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty..(till the end of Surat-Baraa' (At-Tauba) (9.128-129) Then the complete manuscripts (copy) of the Qur'an remained with Abu Bakr till he died, then with 'Umar till the end of his life, and then with Hafsa, the daughter of 'Umar. | | Tafsir | |

So those properties were for Allah's Apostle only, and he used to provide thereof the yearly expenditure for his wives, and dedicate the rest of its revenues for purchasing arms and horses as war material to be used in Allah's Cause. | | Tafsir | | By this saying, we learn two important points:
- Moe's battles were aggressive; offensive, not defensive
- Allah's cause is violent; Islam is not peaceful.

On that Abu Wail said, "We were at Siffin (a city on the bank of the Euphrates, the place where me battle took place between 'Ali and Muawiya) A man said, "Will you be on the side of those who are called to consult Allah's Book (to settle the dispute)?" 'Ali said, 'Yes (I agree that we should settle the matter in the light of the Qur'an)." ' Some people objected to 'Ali's agreement and wanted to fight. On that Sahl bin Hunaif said, 'Blame yourselves! I remember how, on the day of Al-Hudaibiya (i.e. the peace treaty between the Prophet and the Quraish pagans), if we had been allowed to choose fighting, we would have fought (the pagans). At that time 'Umar came (to the Prophet) and said, "Aren't we on the right (path) and they (pagans) in the wrong? Won't our killed persons go to Paradise, and theirs in the Fire?" The Prophet replied, "Yes." Umar further said, "Then why should we let our religion be degraded and return before Allah has settled the matter between us?" The Prophet said, "O the son of Al-Khattab! No doubt, I am Allah's Apostle and Allah will never neglect me." So Umar left the place angrily and he was so impatient that he went to Abu Bakr and said, "O Abu Bakr! Ibn 'Umar said, "O son of my brother! (4.93) Then that man said, "Allah says:-- 'And fight them until there is no more afflictions (worshipping other besides Allah) and the religion (i.e. worship) will be all for Allah (Alone)" (8.39) Ibn 'Umar said, "We did this during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle when the number of Muslims was small, and a man was put to trial because of his religion, the pagans would either kill or chain him; but when the Muslims increased (and Islam spread), there was no persecution." When that man saw that Ibn 'Umar did not agree to his proposal, he said, "What is your opinion regarding 'Ali and 'Uthman?" Ibn 'Umar said, "What is my opinion regarding Ali and 'Uthman? Abdulla Ahmed Ali, recently on trial for plotting to blow up airliners, made a final video testament. Adrian Morgan reveals its content at Family Security Matters.
...And also I'm doing this because of the rewards, the big rewards that Allah has promised us - we'll step on his path and Inshallah (Allah wiling) become martyred and the best amongst us is in the world is the guarantee of Jannah (Heaven) for myself and those that are close to me. And on top of this, it's to punish and humiliate the Kuffaar (non-Muslims), and to teach them a lesson they will never forget - is to tell them that the we - the Muslims - are a people of honor - we are a people of 'Izza (domination over non-Muslims)....
Ibrahim Savant, one of the conspirators, said in his video:
"I have participated within this blessed raid for.. upon the enemies of Islam for several reasons - I have sacrificed my life cheaply, within the sake of Allah noticing myself from the life the trials and tribulations but now will fulfill a covenant and promise with Allah almighty - and to make his deen (way of faith) reign supreme."
Umar Islam, another conspirator, said in his testament:
"We are doing this in order to gain the pleasure of our lord Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala (glorified and exalted) as Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala loves those who strive in his path. And Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala loves the mujahideen. And Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala loves us to die and kill in his path. And anyone who tries to deny this then read the Koran and will not be able to deny this, because this is the words in the Koran and the words of Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala - and we will not leave this path until you leave our lands and until you feel what we are feeling (he looks down at script and reads) This is revenge.. for the actions of the USA in the Muslim lands, and their accomplices, such as the British and the Jews."...
Where do they obtain that excrement? They receive it in the Mosque, from their Imam, Mullah or guest lecturers. They receive it from monographs, books, disks & tapes. The ultimate source is Moe's recitation of Allah's revelations. It ain't radicalism. It ain't extremism. It is standard, off the shelf Islam.
- the big rewards that Allah has promised us
- 2:112. Yes, but whoever submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism) and he is a Muhsin (good-doer i.e. performs good deeds totally for Allah's sake only without any show off or to gain praise or fame, etc., and in accordance with the Sunnah of Allah's Messenger Muhammad Peace be upon him ) then his reward is with his Lord (Allah), on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [See Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Vol.1, Page 154].
- 3:169. Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.
3:170. They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve.
3:171. They rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.
3:172. Those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad ) after being wounded; for those of them who did good deeds and feared Allah, there is a great reward. - 5:85. So because of what they said, Allah rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of gooddoers.
- And on top of this, it's to punish and humiliate the Kuffaar
- 2:161. Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allah and of the angels and of mankind, combined.
2:162. They will abide therein (under the curse in Hell), their punishment will neither be lightened, nor will they be reprieved. - 8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes."
8:13. This is because they defied and disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever defies and disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then verily, Allah is Severe in punishment. - 8:57. So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.
- 9:14. Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people,
- 3:112. Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins).
- we are a people of 'Izza (domination over non-Muslims)
- 3:110. You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-FasiqUn (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).
- Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.
- 9:33. It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the MushrikUn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it).
- will fulfill a covenant and promise with Allah almighty
- 9:111. Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .
- 61:10 O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.
- 61:11. That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!
- 61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of 'Adn Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.
- Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala loves those who strive in his path
- 2:110. And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and whatever of good (deeds that Allah loves) you send forth for yourselves before you, you shall find it with Allah. Certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
- 2:195. And spend in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad of all kinds, etc.) and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allah), and do good. Truly, Allah loves Al-MuhsinUn (the good-doers).
You know what they were planning to do and why they planned to do it. What will you do about it? Will you demand that elected officials and candidates for high office quit lying about Islam and level with us? Will you demand an end to Muslim immigration? Will you demand a swift and permanent end to special privileges & accommodations for Muslims?

Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims a presentation by Ambassador Hemayet UddinThe 9/11 incident was surely one of the worst acts of terrorism in history. While the terrorist act was carried out by the 19 Muslim extremists, regrettably it was attributed to Muslim community and Islam in general by many in the West including the media. In the process, it contributed to the proliferation of intolerance against Muslims. A new word "Islamophobia" was coined. In the West the term depicted a fear of Islam as a religion that abets terror; while in the Muslim world, the term connoted Western societies' deep prejudice against Islam and total disregard for its values and beliefs. In short, Muslims who true to their faith believe in the values of tolerance, peace and peaceful co-existence have been subjected to discrimination, prejudice, profiling and even persecution.
- regrettably it was attributed to Muslim community and Islam in general
What do the 'magnificent 19' have in common with splodydopes in Russia, Spain, Britain, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Israel? They are all Muslim; they read the same Qur'an, Sunnah & Sira. They are acting in obedience to Allah; emulating Moe.
- intolerance against Muslims
- Why should Kuffar tolerate Muslims?
- Tolerance & respect must be reciprocal.
- Islam as a religion that abets terror
Islam sanctifies, commands, glorifies and brags about terror as a battle tactic.
- 3:151 We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, ...
- 8:112. ...I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes. ...
- 33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
- Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
Narrated Abu Huraira: ... I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), ...
- Muslims who true to their faith believe in the values of tolerance, peace and
peaceful co-existence - Tolerance: 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
- Peace: 9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).
While the Ambassador paints a word picture of peaceful, tolerant Islam being calumniated and repressed by Kuffar, the reality is exactly the opposite. Islam's canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence reveals the awful truth. Do you understand that Islamic law (Sharia) requires that a minimum of one military expedition be launched against Kuffar in every year? No? Why the Hell don't you? Are you an ignorant damn fool who absorbs and accepts the malicious malarkey spewed by legions of liars? Being a natural skeptic, I looked into the matter, and I discovered truth, which I am sharing with you.
Al-Shafi'i (God have mercy on him) said: "The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims' interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse." He said: "If he did not undertake the sending of enough troops to fight, those who are absent (must) go out, and consider as an obligation that which God (who is praised) said."
Below is what Al-Ghazali actually wrote about jihad war, and the treatment of the vanquished non-Muslim dhimmi peoples (from the Wagjiz, written in 1101 A.D.): ...one must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year...one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them...If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book - Jews and Christians, typically] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked...One may cut down their trees...One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide...they may steal as much food as they need... Let that sink in for a moment. Read and re-read those rulings from Islamic legal scholars until you have memorized the highlighted clauses. Remember those words every time you hear a Muslim spew peace and co-existence.

Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims a presentation by Ambassador Hemayet UddinThe phenomenon of Islamophobia now concerns everybody. The United Nations has tried to address the issue by holding several seminars. The former UN Secretary General Kofi Anan in a speech on 7th December 2004 stated inter alia that Islam’s tenets are frequently distorted and taken out of context, with particular acts or practices being taken to represent or to symbolize a rich and complex faith. He said that "some claim that Islam is incompatible with democracy, or irrevocably hostile to modernity and the rights of women. And in too many circles, disparaging remarks about Muslims are allowed to pass without ce |
