OK. John McCain, albeit not as "spicy" for my liking, came out swinging in an interview with ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos ( a nice Irish fellow LOL). In this interview he said several things that I absolutely agree with, somethings that I could be persuaded to go along with (our differences not all that far apart) and he said one thing that caused Grunt Speak. Then again, Reagan said and did some things that received that same Grunt Speak. We are not going to have the perfect candidate. Not until we as Conservatives get up off of our asses and be willing to get our hands dirty and re-educate the impressionable young at our alleged bastions of higher learning will we have a chance to get the Perfect Candidate. We cannot rely on our politicians any more because WE dropped the ball on keeping them in check. Also, we cannot continue to blame those same politicians that we allowed to continue on the track we allowed them to climb aboard onto. The blame sets firmly in the laps of the Conservatives due to inactivity and the unwillingness to get a bloody nose from time to time.

With that being said, the video links Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, are well worth your time. They can be found also at RCP Video. The total time to stop watching some stupid TV show is 22 minutes. Surely you can spare 22 minutes. How many times are you going to watch M*A*S*H* reruns anyway?

I counted three spankings of Czarbama. We need MORE spankings and a MORE aggressive McCain AND other spineless dolts of the GOP/RNC.

From Arutz Sheva we learn that McCain was interviewed about Israel's concerns, specifically including Iran.

Asked about the possibility that Israel would take military action against Iran on its own, McCain replied:
"Well I hope that that would never happen. I hope that Israel would not feel that threatened. That's why I think that we, Americans, joining with our European allies can impose significant and very impactful sanctions on Iran, which I think could modify their behavior. They've got a lousy economy because they've got a lousy government. So, I would hope that we could succeed in that direction and I have some optimism we can. But I have to look you in the eye and tell you that the United States of America can never allow a second Holocaust."
Pressed regarding using the military to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, Senator McCain said, "All I can tell you is that I think we have a lot of options to explore before we seriously explore the military option, and I don't think we have exercised those enough."

How long have the IAEA & EU been negotiating with Iran, how long has the UN been applying sanctions and what results have they produced? What hope is there that Russia & China will subordinate their economic interests to global security? Their votes are required for Security Council action; they have veto power. They will prevent the application of effective sanctions.Iran will have enough highly enriched uranium to make a bomb long before any sanctions could possibly impede their progress.

What magic wand will McCain wave over Ahmadinejad's head to compel him to completely & permanently terminate Iran's quest for nuclear weaponry? Did sanctions work on North Korea? Did sanctions work on Iraq? What is different in the case of Iran that makes it a special case which only McCain's magical spell can solve?

Islam operates under a demonic imperative to conquer the world and a demonic promise of eventual success. Only an ignorant or corrupt damn fool makes promises of magic solutions to insoluble problems.

Those topics from Ibn Kathir's Tafsir include the relevant ayat and ahadith which form the nucleus of Islamic law on the subject. Near the end of Book O9.1, we find this informative gem:

If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.
The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year.

Islamic law requires Muslims to attack Kuffar every year until the entire globe is conquered. What magic wand is Senator McCain going to wave; what magic words will put a permanent end to Jihad?

Hitler advertised his intentions. Our grandparents ignored his warning; 60 million died. Muhammad advertised his intentions in the Koran. Why in the Goddamn Hell are you ignoring his warning? What intellectual and moral defects motivate our elected leaders? 270,000,000 have already fallen victim to Islam over the last 1385 years. How many more must suffer and die before you will get off your dead ass and disrespectfully demand effective action?

Pull your head out of your rectum, wipe the feces from your eyes, and take a clear, cold look at objective factual reality. Only the complete elimination of Islam from the face of the earth will end Jihad. McCain does not comprehend this fatal fact and lacks the requisite spinal fortitude to commence the effort.

Perhaps this is McCain's version of going for the throat but, regardless, it is the second item that does encourage me that the McCain Camp is at least beginning to quite possibly get their hands dirty in the fight for our Nation's survival. The problem is, the Lame Stream Media being put on notice in such a degree only angers them.

As the Obama Camp went traipsing to the Middle East on a photo-op and Logan Act Violation Tour, the media was issued this document which can be downloaded and printed at will. It can also be found and downloaded at Mike's America in a post entitled, Obama in Overseas Campaign Swing.

I heard about Nancy Reagan's endorsement of John McCain back in March, but it wasn't until this weekend that I actually saw the video of it. THIS IS A MUST SEE! If anyone was under the impression that Mrs. Reagan was now an elderly woman without any awareness of what's really going on anymore, this video will change your mind. I don't know what Mrs. Reagan said to John McCain before this video was taken, but you can tell by his demeanor that he knows THAT SHE KNOWS he isn't worthy enough to shine her shoes much less receive her endorsement for President. While she stands next to him, a lump of guilt works it's way up to the back of his mouth and he has to clear his throat and swallow to keep his composure. But the climax of this clip starts at 2:30 when a member of the press asks, "What persuaded Mrs. Reagan to give you this endorsement so early on?" She leans forward to begin answering the question herself as McCain interrupts and says, "Well, I hope it's testimony to her confidence in me as well as our friendship of many many years." Watch Mrs. Reagan's face as McCain attempts to put words in her mouth. When he uses the word "confidence" to describe the reason for her endorsement, she rubs her tongue against her upper lip. But as soon as McCain finishes answering for Mrs. Reagan, she abruptly says, "But it wasn't early on! Let me inject in here. Ronny and I always waited until everything was decided and THEN we endorsed. Well... Obviously... THIS is the nomination of the party." And then she flips her hand up as to say, "I guess this is what we're stuck with." She says nothing about her confidence in McCain, no words of praise, nothing! It's more of a "Well I can't endorse anyone else you idiot!" The facial emotions on both Mrs. Reagan and McCain during the exchange is priceless!

McCain Campaign Ad...can this be the beginning we have been DEMANDING of McCain?

Senator McCain tells us that he will appoint strict constructionists to the courts. He also tells us that he will not apply a litmus test. Which is it? The two positions are mutually exclusive.

He says that he will appoint justices like Roberts & Alito. Will he make good appointments, or will he "reach across the aisle" to "work with" Democrats? Which is it?

According to Jed Babbin, writing at Human Events,

As John Fund reported and Robert Novak confirmed, McCain has said Sam Alito is too conservative.

Is Justice Alito a model for McCain's appointments or "too conservative"; which is it?

In the first half of '08, the Senate voted on seven district judges. Senator McCain missed all seven votes. In '97, Senator McCain missed eight out of twenty confirmation votes. During President Bush's second term, Senator McCain has skipped 36 of 218 cloture & confirmation votes on judicial nominees. We know what his priorities are, don't we?

The Democrats are nominating a fork tongued demagogue for President. Shouldn't the Republicans do better? We need a Conservative choice; a statesman, not a maverick flimflam artist.

According to Snooper:

The only argument that is being made for staying at home and allowing Obama to gain the White House and take a larger majority in the CONgress with him is that Obama is no different than McCain.

That's pretty petty and pathetic. How can a known Marxist that deep down loathes Traditional Americana and The Troops as well be a better choice in the alleged long run?

That position is indefensible plain and simple.

I do not argue for abstaining from voting nor do I know of any such argument being made. I advocate demanding that the GOP convention dump Senator McCain and replace him with a Conservative who will campaign on & govern by Conservative principles, not accepting the 'crats premises as the basis for debate. Failing that, I will coast down the hill to the polling place and cast a write in in protest.

There are significant differences between the two candidates, but neither is acceptable. Either one will do irreparable harm to the Constitution and to our liberty & prosperity. The blend of racism with the Saul Alinsky agenda is not acceptable. Neither are the Kyoto Treaty, the Law of the Sea Treaty, carbon taxes or cap & trade.

The Unfairness Doctrine is not acceptable neither is McCain-Feingold.

Packing the Supreme Court with judicial activists pushing the Socialist Agenda is not acceptable neither is Filibustering judicial nominees.

In any term, short, mid or long, both Senator Obama and Senator McCain are unacceptable, not only on domestic issues but on national security as well. Senator Obama would return explicitly to the domestic criminal prosecution model of counter terrorism. That is not acceptable; the consequences could be deadly, just as they were in and after the Clinton administration. Senator McCain would continue the Bush blindness which can neither identify the enemy nor define victory.

Real Clear Politics quotes Senator McCain: [All emphasis added,]

"Today in Iraq, America and our allies stand on the precipice of winning a major victory against radical Islamic extremism. "

If all resistance to occupation ends along with all sectarian attacks on Iraqi civilians and the al-Maliki regime succeeds in uniting Iraq while preserving a democratic system of open elections, is that victory? Not if Iraq is allied with Iran and reverts to a pattern of shielding, training, facilitating & subsidizing terrorists!

Iraq's new constitution says that Sharia is the source of its laws. If you have read my posts, you know what Sharia requires: at least one military expedition against the Kuffar in every year until the entire world is subjugated. That ain't victory! He also said:

"So, do I believe that Iraq is an object lesson? Not as much as others do because after the initial victory, if we'd have handled it right, everybody would be happy with Iraq today because Saddam Hussein is gone and they have a country that's functioning."

Eliminating Saddam and restoring Iraq to functional status does not constitute victory. There is no victory if Iraq reverts to supporting terrorism, which it will so long as it remains under Islamic control.
In an interview with Belief Net, Senator McCain said:

"I admire the Islam. There's a lot of good principles in it. I think one of the great tragedies of the 21st century is that these forces of evil have perverted what's basically an honorable religion."

I have challenged Senator McCain to tell us about Islam's good principles. He has not responded, and I will be very surprised if he does. What is honorable about conquest, genocide & terrorism? Who has perverted Islam and how?

Senator Obama would waste the sacrifice of our troops by surrendering, emboldening and strengthening the enemy in the process. Senator McCain would extend the sacrifice of our troops by fighting without knowing who the enemy is and when victory is achieved. Neither one is superior. Neither one is acceptable.

The Iraq Veterans running to replace various Leftinistra members of the GOP and DNC parties are running to assist conservatives to retake the Congress. Does staying home in a tizzy fit help these men win? No, it does not.

How does accepting the 'Crat's premise at the commencement of debate help to retake Congress? Senator McCain has accepted the anthropomorphic global warming theory, which should be a major campaign issue. He has also accepted the concept of alien amnesty and open borders, both of which are major campaign issues. He only recently stepped up to the plate on domestic oil exploration & production. Will he challenge the 'Crats on their blockage of common sense action? No, he won't. He will have no coat tails, and will preside over expanded 'Crat majorities in both houses.

Does giving up the fight to watch the country descend into Marxist rule make any sense to one with a rational mind set? No, it does not.

The fight has been given up by those who concede the GOP nomination to McCain. He was selected by 43.5% of the primary & caucus voters; 56.5% preferred someone else. Why are you settling for a minority candidate selected by the media and interloping libtards?

If you want to win the GWOT, you need to nominate a candidate who can identify the enemy and define victory. If you want to recover control of the House & Senate, you need to nominate a candidate able & willing to articulate and advance Conservative principles. If you want our borders secured and immigration brought under control, you need to nominate a candidate who advocates those objectives. If you want the first amendment to be enforced and preserved so that Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and other Conservative radio hosts won't be censored, you need to nominate a candidate who respects the right of freedom of expression. If you want the Supreme Court to judge the constitutionality of laws instead of legislating from the bench, you need to nominate a candidate who respects the nomination and confirmation process, not one who acted to maintain an unconstitutional Filibuster process for blocking nominees.

In summation, if you want Conservatives to support, contribute to and enthusiastically vote for your presidential nominee, then nominate a genuine Conservative, not a RINO who would re-define Conservativism.
